I took my girl up to 7. We found 6 hens and a Tom Thursday afternoon. Went back at 4:30 A.M. to hunt that area and had a guy stop every 1/4 mile and coyote howl trying to get a gobble. He drove by us and then parked a couple hundreds yards up the road. We heard gobbles early in the morning but couldn't get a visual on them. Thanks to Lance and Adam for the turkey tips.

I'm taking my girl up for the jr. turkey hunt this weekend. Do turkeys travel a particular direction when it's windy? (Into the wind?) Do they not move as much when it's windy? What time do you usual see them water? I'm doing more research but hoping some of you guys can chip in any experiences that could help a rookie. My girl is tired of being cooped up and is looking forward to getting in the woods for a few days.

I was thinking of shaving my whole head. Gotta wear a mask at work anyways......

My 2 cents. The number of classifieds have gotten huge here. Couple things could be done. People who post stuff for sale should have a minimum of 50 posts. Maybe have like 5% of sale back to Amanda. (Not sure how it would be enforced). Maybe re-do the classifieds and group items into sections. Guns in one, Tents in another. Clothes in another. Optics in another. etc etc.

Is this still available? Will you take .50 cents? Wait what's for sale again ?

I'm debating whether to keep shooting my old Switchback XT or get a new VXR. I haven't shot the VXR yet because I'm lefty and not a lot of lefty VXR's out there yet.

We had to hide an 80 roll case of TP at work today. We use it for cleaning parts and holding rotors. Too many people were walking by and eyeballing it.

Browning SA-22 bottom eject is another one to look at.

Lots of antelope in the trees. My last one was shot 1/2 mile from an open area in heavy cover. Get up on a knob or hill and glass. They are usually active all day.

Saved my money cutting lawns etc. for a Remington 760 Pump in .270 Win. I had about 130$ saved up. My Dad paid for the rest. I shot a mule deer and a CWT with it.

Got a jr cow tag for my daughters final jr hunt. And a 135$ hit for most likely a 7W bull tag for either my wife or me. Mine was all archery and hers was late rifle bull. Can't wait to find out if I'm buying a new bow!

Do the typical glass the sunny sides of hills in the morning. Check out saddles near bigger hills. Not sure if the sun is out up in 6A today but glassing upper parts of hills should find them rooting around. Good luck! ETA: find the catclaw, they feel invisible in it. Really, they are hard to see when in catclaw.

Trying to find a tag or label on an Eberlestock pack which identifies the model #. I believe it's an X3 Lo Drag but not totally sure. I'm going to post a picture if no one can tell me where the label might be located.
