Very nice!

Saw elk tracks in the wash on my pig hunt near there in Feb. They must cross the creek and munch on Farmer Browns grass. We must of just missed seeing them one day. Sign and smell in the big wash.

6.3 % chance for Resident with 8 points. If you had 9 points this year it would jump to 53.3%. 20 tags in bonus pass. Good luck!

Thanks Doug! Somehow I didn't look there. I guess I have a chance with 36. Somehow I missed some points along the way.

Interesting! Thanks for sharing. That bear in 17B had a great life! Made it to drinking age. Lol

People are pigs. I almost always have a garbage bag with me on outings into the woods. I can easily fill a tall kitchen bag if I wanted to. Unless there is a designated garbage can somewhere at one of our stops somewhere I take everything with me and then some and dump it at home.

Was in 7 for the Youth hunt with my daughter. Saw a Tom with 6 hens the afternoon before the hunt. Had a couple gobbling Friday and Sat. morning but no dice. Sunday morning heard nothing. Good luck on your hunt!

I took my girl up to 7. We found 6 hens and a Tom Thursday afternoon. Went back at 4:30 A.M. to hunt that area and had a guy stop every 1/4 mile and coyote howl trying to get a gobble. He drove by us and then parked a couple hundreds yards up the road. We heard gobbles early in the morning but couldn't get a visual on them. Thanks to Lance and Adam for the turkey tips.

I'm taking my girl up for the jr. turkey hunt this weekend. Do turkeys travel a particular direction when it's windy? (Into the wind?) Do they not move as much when it's windy? What time do you usual see them water? I'm doing more research but hoping some of you guys can chip in any experiences that could help a rookie. My girl is tired of being cooped up and is looking forward to getting in the woods for a few days.
