You can get something nice for 4 to 5 hundred. I'm looking for something in the 300$ range. My 16 year old Bushnell is giving me a + or- 5 yd variance. Sucks for bowhunting.

Go on the Wyoming G$F buffalo hunter page and it has some good info on ID. There's also a Canadian one that has a picture ID quiz. I failed miserably. I found these just by googling bison hunting. My son's friend booked with Russ. I'll see what info I can get from him.

The LH is going to be an issue. I'm a left hand shooter and have shot "right-hand" shotguns since I was 12. They're actually easier to load when you are a lefty. I would suggest not getting hung up on LH only guns. In this market right now a pump shotgun is even hard to come by at a decent price. Like youngdon said a BPS but find a used one. Also look for a Winchester 1400 or 1500. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Going into this draw what is max points someone can have for Buffalo? Thinking it may be 36 to 38? Also, Hunters Trailhead doesn't include AZ Buffalo draw pass from what I can tell. Anybody already have a subscription to GoHunt? It may be on there. I did find some harvest data info on AZGFD site but not exactly what I'm looking for.

What about all the animals in the fires path? Did they go North or run across the creek into 23? Thinking lots of deer and bears where the fire went through?
