  5. This waterfowl hunt was the 3rd annual to help young hunters learn how to hunt ducks and geese. Ducks Unlimited, CWA (California Waterfowl Association), Sprague's Sporting Goods, the Yuma Valley Rod & Gun Club, and many other sponsors donated gear for the young hunters. Older goose hunters volunteered as mentors to teach and call for the kids also. Huge thanks to all who helped make this a huge success. Camcorder was a Canon GL-2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrI_3s-GQDc

  9. $1999 and it's yours F/S Swarovski ATS 80 HD spotting scope w/ 20x60 eyepiece This spotter has only been used maybe 5 times and is in excellent shape. No scratches on the lenses or dings. Comes with op manual, 20x60 angled eyepiece, cleaning cloth, standard tripod mount baseplate and hard sided carry case. HD (High Definition) instruments helps to eradicate the slightest chromatic zonal aberrations and contributes to a more faithful colour image. Very light weight of only 1300 g/45.9 oz New external coating for lenses which makes it considerably easier to clean objective- and ocular lenses. Thanks to improved cleaning the lenses need less intensive attention to achieve maximum clarity. This considerably increases the longevity of optical products. Extremely high-quality optical system for totally natural colour reproduction and precision observation of detail, even when light conditions are poor Focus - Extremely short close focusing down to only 16 ft (5 m). Easy-grip ergonomically positioned focusing ring with larger grooves for quick and precise focusing. Extremely light, but very sturdy light alloy housing. The fully rubberised armouring for shock absorption and noise reduction is easy to handle even in cold weather. Internal focusing for dustproof and watertight qualities (up to a depth of 13 ft or 4 m). Full objective lens protection and objective lens thread for screw-in filters. Removable aid for quick target pick-up. Integrate objective lens protection. Stops glare and diffused light as well as protecting against rain and snow. Lock mechanism in ultimate extended position: cannot move on its own and silent to handle. Automatic safeguard against accidental unscrewing of the eyepieces. Full field of view even for spectacle wearers due to individually adjustable twist-in eyecups. Fast and easy mounting on Swarovski tripods without additional plate (standardised foot). Fits also all Tripods with 1/4" and 3/8" threads. Large and easy-to-operate focusing ring even with gloves on. Easily removable lens cap. The case has a broken handle, can be fixed with small piece of rope maybe? The case is sturdy with 2 hasps on front. I just don't use it much and want to go to 10x50 binos instead. It did perform well when looking for detail like antler tines at long range. Sharpest spotter I've used. MSRP is $2875. Other Swaro spotters like this are going for $2195+ on Ebay. $1999 and it's yours. CONUS only shipping sorry. Email or call 877-721-7515. First one with payment gets it. No checks or money orders. Cash or credit card okay. http://www.swarovskioptik.at

ATA bow show videos from Indy

Part 5. This video has info on camo and how UV brightners make the camo glow to deer and other animals. The video also shows how to get rid of the UV glow. I'd say one of the biggest leg ups I've found in deer hunting is using the UV camo wash. I always wondered how whitetails would bust me from 80 yards out in a stand when I hadn't even blinked an eye. The UV glow made sense so I started using the UV wash and it was a dramatic change, especially when I still hunted and would bump into deer at real close range. They might smell me but they would look right through me, even when caught out in the open with no tree or brush to break up my outline. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wRe-OAaFSk

    CHECK THIS OUT!!!!!!!!!

One of our biggest problems in the military was trying to sneak up to or around someone without being detected. Many people have dogs and that was our worst fear. Even goats would bust us. We got busted almost everytime by dogs and animals. THat is if the wind was wrong. If the wind stayed in our favor it was a walk in the park. Trust me, if these scent eliminators worked you would see SPECOPs guys walking around in them and you don't. We wore the charqual suits for CHEM attacks and they were heavy and hot. THey also didn't stop the dogs from smelling us. With animal's noses be able to detect scent in parts per billion you'd have to be in a bubble. Play the wind, it's your only chance.
  16. The pic was judged a fake by many on our game cam forum. It first appeared on the Internet a couple of years ago on the Bowsite. There are several versions. Cougar behind muley, behind an elk, Osama Bin laden riding the cougar, a raccon on the couger etc. From working with Photoshop myself I believe the pic has been altered with a copy and paste.

    On-Line application deadline extended

Server overload probably. I know one year I waited until the last day to apply online and had trouble. Do it at least 2 days before to avoid the crush on the server. Servers can only take so many requests and then they crash.
