I like rcbs dies they are true to the Ackley chamber if it was done right.my buddy has the same Ackley so I will try to get some load data.i grew up in elfrida still go down there all the time.if you neck size make sure you chamber every round before the hunt to make sure they fit.

Its a tuff unit all the best places are private land.you will need to get on the phone and try to get permission.

I use slick trick heads they work great.i would never shoot a rage at elk just to much big bone and tuff hide.

6.5-284 or a 7mag will do very well for you.i don't like the thirty Cal mags to use the heavy bullets with good bc they recoil too much.i know there will be people that say put on a break but I like what little hearing I have left.
