Probably started because the liberal hunter comment. I still don't understand why every time a camera comes up missing guys automatically come on here and accuse other hunters of taking them. I'm happy he came here to let us know but could have just left it at that. And also not threatening them. And we wonder why they want to ban trail camera. 1st. We as Arizonians would be in the minority. Alot of the raffle tags would be won by nonresidents. Appox 30,000 non resident to 22,000 resident sold raffle tickets. Look at who wins the super raffles. Look at all the numbers on the super raffle that will be a good model of what would happen on this proposal. 2nd. How do you keep the wealthy from buying say 50% or more of any prime tag raffle and putting their odds at 50% or better to win. (Its already been done) 3rdly. They are not gonna raise enough money with basic tags. Its gonna be early bull tags and Strip and Kiabab tags and sheep tags. These will be the main income stream. Their narrative is to broad when you listen to them. 4th. I believe you have to be at the Utah expo to particapate in their tag raffles. 5th. They say they might add a week of hunting to auction tags and raffle tags?

How do you keep the wealthy from spiking the raffle tags? So one guy buys 50% of the raffle tags. Its already been done and guess who wins! Its another tag grab with a different name! And wealthy guys are behind it!!!! Really they only want a small % of tags across the board. Ya the already hardest tags in Arizona to draw. Its HUGE! Come on gentlemen dont drink their kool aid. You might want to hold off on sending those appreciation emails until after the tag grab is settled unless your all for it then by all means send them on. I hope you also sent an e-mail to Commissioner Davis asking him why he would automatically propose a no increase in license fees in order to fund the education battle as we all know the raffle tags issue will be the next Battle. I see this one will be much more divided than the trailcams. Many are in favor of the raffle tags provided they are prescribed in a reasonable way. At this point they are talking about less than one half of one percent...Ya , of the most coveted tags in the state which adds up quickly in an already super small percentage of tags. Here is the whole problem with the Raffle tags. It is going to take prime tags to make the money they want to raise 1st. A cow tag or turkey tag or pig tag arent going to meet their monetary objectives. 2nd. They will need prime elk deer,antelope, buffalo tags at prime times to raise enough money. 3rdly.its going to come out of the already small pool of of prime tags for deer and elk or sheep or antelope. 4thly. 1. There will always be cameras on waterholes and or trick tanks irregardless if the commission votes on a proposal today. If u dont have a tag or are not helping someone you can put up a camera. Its all about Their fair chase perspective in aiding or abetting of taking wildlife. 2. They have 5 proposals that were given to 2 of the commissioners . Mr. Davis & Mr. Zeiler . They will decide which ones go to the commission for a vote. Which they may or may not vote on today. Its the last thing on the agenda of a huge day for the commissioners so long day ahead. SirRoyal
