The taxidermy on the bighorn was good! . The pedestal was not good! So I dressed it up with antlers, One of these days I will have a new pedestal done with real looking rocks. I did have him mounted standing out over a rock overhang just like when I shot him.

Get all the info You can ! I drew a Bighorn sheep tag on 11 points in 2003 tag #3 out of 7 tags! It was a 15b west tag . I had no idea Arizona had Nelsoni and Mexicali Bighorn sheep! I Learned a lot! Here's how to draw a tag: !. Always Believe you will draw every time you put in!!! 2.Pray!!! Divine Intervention is necessary! 3.When You Draw getting help is no problem ! This was the forty third Ram I saw : 160" class 15.4 bases, left side 37", right side broomed to 30"

Wow ! Impressive!

The letter of the law kills us all!!! No one can be 100% right all the time .Except of course God. When I first read this I to was surprised and somewhat bewildered. But decided to hold judgment because I did not have all the facts. The lesson learned here is there are game wardens who believe that the hunter is guilty until proven innocent. There are wardens with this attitude and we have all met them! Somehow the Dept projects this very negative image which at times reveals this ugly head in an inferiority complex in comparison to other Law Enforcement Agencies. I for one think Mr. Wagner may not have been 100% by the book. But it took a good bite by his own kind to make him and some other Wardens aware of how the Public is treated at times by those representing the Dept. And They didn't like it!!!! I think they will be better wardens for it! Saying all that I personally know of very competent game wardens who are very gracious and helpful ,they love to hunt and that passion is expressed in their interaction with the hunters. They are Good People that the system has not corrupted!

Ummm, because it isn't a requirement to purchase ammo. But it is a private store and they can set whatever policy they want and also refuse service to anyone they want. You dont like it, dont shop there. I just want you guys to know belligerent Average Joe's are not the norm !!!

Wow This thread went downhill ,so back to facts . CooseFan nailed on the head again . The early Bull rifle hunts and early Bull muzzleloader hunts are no walk in the park . You can't pattern much of anything because of all the pressure during the archery hunts. Lots of broken horned would been a monster bull! The whole scenery changes you have to be very adaptable because different bulls show up that you have never seen before!!! Archery all the way!!!

Ramacasador: Max points pre draw 2013 was 24. And yes point creep is an issue. But you should draw in 2 to 4 years! Dont wait till you draw to plan! Start now if you want to kill a: monster! I know you will be pre occupied with all that elk hunting this year, but theres ways to increase your odds for a Monster on your future antelope hunt!

Thank you for your vote of confidence, Jim Very well said about 9. Kaffer62. That is a 10 bull . Its basically a monster 5 point!!! Here is a 9 bull from the 2011 archery bull hunt! This was a week after just about every guide and hunter in 9 was scrambling to salvage thier hunts! See the rains rolled in the evening of the first day and rained for 5 days straight. Everybody was back to even no matter how much they had scouted! I landed in 9 at this time . Here is the very first bull I found that morning. and there was over 15 bulls with least 3 others that would score above 360. No hunters even close by! We killed a 365 the last evening in this hot spot!

I have 3 units I specialize and love to hunt in 9,10,6A. Your tag ,my tag, anybodies tag lets go hunting! This will get the juices flowing! Last year !
