No Regular deer hunt

Well we were after a huge bull. I sat on him all day til dark on Thursday before opening day friday. He was by himself ,thought for sure he would dead by 7 am opening day. Sometime thursday night he walked away never to return. So we went down to the last hour of the last day trophy hunting. I'm a run-n-gun hunter not camper or a Homesteader. But Abe And His wife fed me like a King and I slept like a baby!! Very enjoyable hunt!

Been busy helping folks achieve their dreams thru SirRoyal's not for profit guide service! LoL! I did 10 hunts with 8 of the hunts wrapping tags around the antlers of antelope,deer,and elk. And the wrapping of a young mans deer and elk tags around a juniper tree with an admonishment that hopefully next year he can shoot straighter. 😆 Here is #7 Kill. Shot by Lisa with a Muzzleloader at 330 yards . This bull was shot standing using a Primos tripod.

Yes, That's a long shot. It was a husband and wife that had the tags . They practiced all summer all the way to the hunt. Homework paid off!!

Its the Sqft of your actual windows that counts . Floor plan size just says you have more or less windows. There are alot Chinese made shutters out there decent quality but not American made. I'll take that as a Joke ! HahahaThat's is a 160" Nelsoni Ram the Largest of 47 rams I glassed on a down year in 15b west. They cut the tags in 1/2 the following year. 7 tags total and mine was the 2nd biggest! 37.5" left horn and a broomed to 30" right horn with 15.4 bases. Hmmmm if he hadn't broomed 168" which is B&C !!! Eat your Heart out friend! I was tickled to death to harvest him! Here is hoping your still waiting on your sheep tag! Lol!

I also drove all night long during the season spotlighting looking for a monster. I drove 150 miles of dirt 2 trackers that night and saw 1 buck that was a great buck but crabbed fronts so not a shooter! This is the reality of the Strip !!!

Hunt87 sounds like you have more than one tag in 13 b. This will be the toughest hunt you have ever been on. You have no idea where the big bucks are. Just starting points. If you get lucky you might get a 180" but more than likely 150" to 160". The average deer up there killed is not 200" and the biggest deer are always killed by the guides and their hunters! The Guides run 100+ cameras and they know where a big buck lives and will wait him out for days without seeing anything! You and I would keep moving looking for a better spot! Getting lucky is your best chance to get a big one! I know several guys that have killed dinks. I know guys that walked away with nothing! All unguided!! I consider myself an above average hunter and I would never do the strip without a guide! That's from personal experience helping a friend on that tag! 2 years ago. I saw 1 buck that would be pushing 200". My buddy found 1 buck that was 208" we know that cause 10 guys and a big name guide surrounded him and killed him. Everything else we saw was dinks. My buddy was up there for 3 weeks solid and still came home empty and he is a pro guide in BC.

Bunhead good for your wife! Muzzleloaders good! As long as it's a 500 yard one! Lol! One things for sure the archery hunters will move the bulls around and take some of the best bulls! I'll be running cameras up there all summer in preparation for the hunts! We will be up there helping my 78 year old uncle on the Early Rifle Bull hunt. And I'll be there on the archery 9 hunt especially if I can find someone to guide !

You won't be able to access The Big Bo till the first week in August . I have been on 10 early rifle Bull hunts in unit 10. Check your PM box!

That's an awesome Ram !!!Congratulations to Tony and Dieringer Outfitters. These Guys are for real!!! When I was a young man I killed my archery Lion with Sam and his Dad! I would venture to say they are in the top 5% of all Arizona Outfitters.

Ultimate was sold to Remington of course. The Remington Ultimate is not the same gun In fact it has a lot of issues. Nope we are doing a ground up build! Only thing we r using is a Remington action! It's a lot less than the high end used to be Ultimate and it's all legal only shooting blackpowder! My buddy is a Muzzleloading guru!!!
