Hey - AZ Desert Ridge Outfitters is providing a fully guided Coues hunt in 24A. Now if you're sharp, you're already figuring that the banquet date is AFTER the draw. That means if you plan on bidding on this hunt, you have to put in for Hunt 1089 or 1090! (and get drawn!). It needs to be one of the November hunts. This is an awesome donation, it just takes some prep work!

Right now, we weren't planning on it....

If you were there last year, you know the food was AMAZING. I'm pleased to announce that Abuelo's will be catering again this year - same menu as the last banquet.

Thats OK - the White Mountain AES banquet should be awesome! New early bird date for the San Tan Chapter Banquet Midnight, Sunday June 15th

IMPORTANT: OK folks - we are very sorry for the inconvenience but due to circumstances beyond our control, we needed to change the venue and the date. Last year's banquet was awesome and the committee is committed to providing a high quality event while raising the most money possible for projects. New date is June 28th. Banquet will be held at the KC Hall in Chandler - 644 E Chandler Blvd, Chandler, AZ 85225

OK folks - 2 weeks left to get in on the early bird drawing! By all accounts last year's banquet was an awesome one! Hoping to top that this year! Can buy online here: www.muledeer.org/node/2205

Looking for folks willing to help set up and man the banquet, solicit donations, recruit corporate tables, get out to stores and put up signs, sell banquet tickets, round up volunteers for projects, etc. Contact me for info!

130 gr Scirocco II's work the best out of mine. I have the Savage 16 Weather Warrior with accu stock, accu trigger and factory muzzle brake. I might try to figure out a good 140 or 150 grain load for elk

People who know me know that I have referred to "the curse" for years. "The Curse" refers to my apparent inability to fill a big game tag in Arizona! Thanks to John Greiss and Josh Smith for breaking the curse in Unit 22 last weekend. Yeah, he's little but he's legal and the curse is busted - that's what matters! You can read the full story over on my site: http://www.skinnymoose.com/desertrat/2013/11/03/and-finally-the-curse-is-broken/

When I shopped around, I found Universal had the best price. I have used them for two trucks now. Virtually indestructible http://www.sprayinliners.com/

Photos wanted - not just Coues

Hi - I'm combing the internet and working my networks in search of 6 quality photos of harvested western whitetail, and 6 cool trail cam photos of western whitetail for the next issue of Western Whitetail magazine. Haven't figured it out yet but selectees will receive full credit and be put in for some kind of prize. What may qualify as Western Whitetail you ask? We're looking for whitetail deer from Mexico to Canada and from the far Midwest to the Pacific Northwest, with an emphasis on the Western Whitetail sub-species: Carmen Mountain Whitetail, Columbian Whitetail, Coues Whitetail, Dakota Whitetail, Northwest Whitetail, and Texas Whitetail. Contact me at marshall[at]westernwhitetail.com -
