UA in downtown Phoenix has about 20 openings right now, including one for a General Maintenance Mechanic. Pay is about 15$/hr for the maint position, but benefits are top notch. Please apply through website, don't contact me directly. https://www.uacareertrack.com/applicants/jsp/shared/frameset/Frameset.jsp?time=1413860270106 If that doesn't take you directly to the position, go to "Search Postings", then select "Phoenix" as the location.

Please do. If she applies, and you'd like to PM me her name, I'll keep an eye out for the application

22 South late bull tag. A spike, but that's OK by me. My first elk and I only had 3 days to hunt. Enjoyable few days with good friends. Learned a lot. Great weather. Got it done the Sunday after Thanksgiving Full story here: http://www.skinnymoose.com/desertrat/2014/12/14/another-first-an-arizona-elk/

Another position open Looking for an Admin person - kind of a "Business Manager, Light" at the UA in downtown Phoenix. Awesome benefits Please apply through the UA website www.uacareertrack.com/applicants/Central?quickFind=214727

Only had 6 people apply for the Mechanic position
-
Bumping this. Some of the positions have closed; the Mechanic position has only had 3 people apply. The Universities (all of them) have exceptional health insurance, and also tuition reduction - you or your immediate family can get significantly reduced tuition for any of the 3 Universities, regardless of which one they work for.

Looking for a work out partner in Queen Creek
muskrat replied to Big Browns's topic in Hunting Fitness
I'm in Queen Creek as well. Go to LA Fitness about 4 nights per week. Been on a 1500 cal/day diet since February but didn't really start doing any exercise other than walking until July (was on hold via cardiologist). I've lost about 33 pounds or so since January. I really thought adding the gym to the restricted calorie diet would significantly speed up my weight loss, but that hasn't been the case...... -

1) Now that we are past banquet season... We are looking to add to our awesome committee! Looking to give something back to this activity we love? The desert we love? Arizona wildlife? I need folks that can participate at outreach events, help at habitat projects, sell raffle tickets now and then, and especially - help organize/promote/work at - our annual fundraising banquet. You can pitch in with all aspects, or let me know how you'd like to help in one or two areas. We do good, legitimate work that helps not only Arizona's mule deer, but all kinds of critters! Contact me for info. Our chapter roughly covers Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, San Tan Valley and south Mesa. 2) A great sponsorship opportunity from the Mule Deer Foundation! This from Jim Lawrence, North Valley Chapter Chairman: "I wanted to let everyone know where we are on our trailer campaign. The first of two trailers should be ready for pickup, within the next day or so. We have a vendor setup and ready to apply the wraps and are sourcing aluminum cabinets for both trailers. We received another sponsor today for the trailers, CP Contractors!! Their logo will be displayed on both sides of each trailer. We are almost ready for the wraps and could use a few more sponsors. If you know of a company or individual who would like to support this mission and have their logo proudly displayed, give me a call right away. The cost is $1075.00 and the funds will be used exclusively for the trailers, tools and equipment. These badly needed trailers are coming none to soon, our projects season is right around the corner. As of today, the following companies have purchased a trailer sponsorship: McMillan Fiberglass Stocks CP Contractors Roll Shutter Systems McMillan Merchant Solutions AZGFD Vortex Optics Game Trail Taxidermy Az Desert Ridge Outfitters Sportsman's Warehouse Taylor Tours Each sponsor will receive a donation receipt for the full value of their gift. We appreciate any help in recruiting new sponsors. "
