Also hiring General Maintenance Mechanics https://uacareers.com/postings/14095 There are lots of positions outside of my department as well. If you know folks looking for work, I suggest you check the website. Choose "greater Phoenix area" in the search function. I know the pay isn't top of the line, but the benefits are awesome. State Retirement, paid state holidays, sick and vacation time. I doubt youll find better health insurance. I pay about $250/month for Blue Cross. No deductibles. $15 co pay for primary care doctor. $100 co pay for hospitalization Qualified Tuition Reduction - for any of the 3 Universities - $25 per semester (plus fees) for you. Your dependents pay 25% of the listed in state tuition. Thanks

About 10 years ago or so I bought this (used) for my daughter to hunt javelina. She shot her first, decided it wasn't for her and its been in the safe ever since. Break action single-shot .223 Remington topped with an inexpensive Simmons scope. Also comes with a .410 Shotgun barrel. Normal dings and scratches from use. Its in good shape. Youth model. I live in Queen Creek, prefer face to face exchange. Looking for 150 bucks. Price for reference: http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?pdesc=New-England-Firearms-Handi-Rifle-SB2-Youth-Centerfire-Rifle&i=UF102924692

Never even been hunted with, but its about 10 years old, I reckon. Worked up the best load and did a bunch of range work for a 6A ML elk hunt, but the night before I left the scope turned in the mounts while I was cleaning it so I borrowed someone else's. I just took it out of the safe now and swabbed the bore and wiped it down. Was shooting fine when I put it away but should really be completely disassembled, cleaned well, breech plug checked, etc. Has see-through mounts and an inexpensive Tasco scope. I'm in Queen Creek and would prefer to meet somewhere face to face. I'd like to get 100 bucks for it. Here are the specs and a random price (you can find them cheaper) : http://www.gunlistings.org/missouri-gun-classifieds/kansas_city/rifles/110111/cva_eclipse_hunter_209_magnum_muzzleloader_wscope

Local Salary Data, for similar positions, per Salary.com Looks like we're not THAT far off...

Looking for a couple of maintenance folks. Pay not great (14-15/hr) but benefits are top of the line. This is at the UA Campus in downtown Phoenix http://uacareers.com/postings/13943

I understand. Im a Millwright by trade and spent most of my career in private industry. That being said, in this position we're basically looking for a handyman. Reconfigure office cubicles, move furniture, hang pictures, minor repairs, stuff like that. Unfortunately we have to post generic job descriptions, that sometime overstate the require skillset. Also, I pay about $220 / month for my health insurance. Blue Cross, Family Plan. No deductibles, just co pays. I earned a University degree paying $25/semester and my daughter is going to ASU at a 75% tuition discount. Anyway, I appreciate your valuable feedback

No, one applicant total so far....not just from here (but Im up to 2 applicants now )

1) Seriously? You think thats what is keeping people away? Ive never had a job where I didn't have to work an evening or weekend now and then... 2) That being said, Ive been there 8 or 9 years and I don't know if Ive ever needed someone to work an evening; Saturdays, once in awhile but we usually adjust their schedule so they get a different day off

Feel free to share.. :-)

Folks - only one applicant so far....

Sorry - should be empty now

I haven't done heavy maintenance for years and I doubt I will again. Cleaning out a few tools. I'd rather not ship this stuff - prefer you pick up in Queen Creek. I might be able to meet you somewhere in the east valley 1) Set of large combination wrenches (5) $40 for the set 7/8" to 1 1/4" Mixture of Craftsman, Husky and Allen. Great shape 2) Pair of aluminum pipe wrenches - $50 for the pair - (2) Aluminum Pipe Wrenches, going as a set only. 24" Rigid and an 18" Rothenberger. 24" is like new, 18" used but in great shape 3) Set of snap ring pliers and an extra - Great shape $25 I suppose hypothetically I might trade something but there not much I want/need - maybe some of the following: .270 130 grain Swift Scirocco Bullets .270 140 grain Swift A Frame Bullets IMR 4350 Powder Federal Large Rifle Primers (or Magnums) Fed 209A or CCI 209M Primers

PSE Vendetta X-Force Bow. I think it is a 2012 or 2013. Price is firm. I'm not inclined to dicker, this is a great price. Bow comes ready to shoot. I traded a rifle for this bow last year and have never even pulled it back. Hung it up in the closet and haven't touched it since. Strings are like new. Comes with a Ripcord drop away rest, and a Fuse 7 pin sight. I don't want to ship, prefer to meet in the east valley.
