I sent 3 e-mails. I received one response and they said they would do their best to prevent the sweeps. -

Don't forget that Vortex has a full line of spotting scopes, tripods and other gadgets as well. I'm picking up the 70mm compact spotting scope and a tripod this summer. Will let everyone know how it works out.

RIP UP THOSE AZG&F SURVEY CARDS!!!!
muskrat replied to bowsniper's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I grew up in New Brunswick where check-ins were mandatory. It seems like every other gas station was an authorized "check station". I didn't think much of it until I moved to Maine, and it was the same thing. I'm not sure how they funded them though. maybe I'll try and find out. You never had to go far out of your way to get to one. Not saying we should have them here; just sayin' -
You ain't gonna make much money buyin stuff for $250 and selling it the next day for $200.... Maybe you're gonna make it up in volume??

For a $2000 profit, you can afford to be generous Casey

Crap - sorry. I used to live in Maine, but I just saw this now. Oh well

I often read about Tarpon fishing in Florida, but I haven't been there yet. Maybe when there are only a handful of purists left, they'll have had enough practice eating their own that the last stand against the antis will be a piece of cake. We grow our ranks (or at least slow the decline) by making information available. That includes by print, by radio, tv, the internet, etc. I doubt the magazine will be printing grid coordinates. Those are big forests, and expansive deserts out there. Besides, anyone who didn't know where to go until they read it in a magazine is probably one of those road hunters anyway. There's no way they could ever encroach on a real hunter's honey-hole...

I saw one yesterday too! It was at the mall in downtown Tempe (Rio Salado and McLintock). Big white truck. 2 gals got out.

I couldn't even watch it all. Jason - Thanks for posting the story. I added it to my blog as well.
