I just bought this stock a week ago from stocky's stocks. It is an Alaskan II with a full aluminum block. The only reason I am selling it is because I don't want to pay to ship it back. My gunsmith told me the fore end on this stock is a little too narrow for my barrel contour. Stock is in new condition. There is a small piece of paint that flaked off by the recoil pad but that was they way I received it from them. I paid 275.56 for it with shipping. Ill take $250 for it, saving you the money of shipping. SOLD

Waimea canyon is really cool to see. I really liked the north shore. The wife and I spent the day up there and I snorkeled with a bunch of sea turtles. One of the coolest memories of the trip. I cant remember the name of the beach now but it was all the way at the end of the road on the north shore. Snorkel bobs was where we got all our stuff from. The island is great and you will have a blast. When you see someone selling fresh Pinneapple get some!!! Its so good. Watch for chickens and roosters while driving around!!!

I personally have never shot anything with them. I know Rick Forrest is on the site and I am sure he could tell you some success stories.

Most of the info that I have found was around 3 to 5 grand depending on who you hunt with. Maybe Darr Colburn or Jay Scott will chime in on this. I would like to know what the charge also.

28-30" with mods

Currently the 60lb limbs are on the bow and they were just bought in july of last year. Has winners choice strings that were also bought last July. The limbs were $175 and I think the string was about $125. I have the 70lb limbs also, they are pictured with the bag that the 60lb limbs came in. Also have the old string in the winners choice package. THere are some small scratches on the bottom cam (see pic) Want to sell bare bow w/ peep and limbs. Also have a wood grip for the bow that can go with it. If anyone wants to work a deal for the other accessories I will consider it. Looking to get $700 $650. Let me know if you are interested. I live in Queen Creek and anyone who wants to stop by and shoot it is more than welcome to.

I have a remington 700 LA ADL wood stock I would like to sell. It came off of a 1976 or 1988 model rifle. I tried to look up the exact year and those were that two it came up with. The stock has been used and has some handling marks but is in good shape. There is some chipping around the top sling stud but doesn't affect it at all. Looking to get $100 $50. I have a question for everyone about a custom built rifle. I just picked up an older model Remington ADL today in 30-06. I bought it in hopes of building a custom rifle with it. I just wanted to know what you guys would choose for caliber and why. I original wanted to build a 6.5x284 but now am thinking maybe something different, like a 6.5-06. Let me hear some opinions!!

Even with a 50mm scope? Will there be any room for scope covers?

Well I am getting closer to building my first gun. I got my timney trigger and I ordered my barrel and stock today. Scope is ordered also. For the scope I got the vortex razor, I really wanted something with a zero stop and this seems like a great choice. I have owned a viper in the past and thought it was a good scope so I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I can't belive I am going to but I think I am going to build a 280 AI. I already have a ton of bullets and brass so I might as well go with what I have instead of buying even more stuff. I ordered a Brux barrel today, #5 contour fluted ss 26" finish. I also ordered a B&C Alaskan stock. It's coming together but I still have a long way to go. Hopefully I will get this thing done in time for deer season! I ordered rings too but I am afraid I might have order them too high. I got the vortex razor highs and I am wondering if that was a bad idea. Anyone have any input on this??
