Hello there. I have two pairs of camo pants that are brand new and never worn. One is Russell outdoors and the other is mossy oak apparel. The tag says 2xl, but if I had to guess the waist is probably like 44 to 48 inches and they would fit someone around 6'4to 6'6. They are free and I'm located in Peoria and work in south Phoenix. I actually thought that was the way it was also. In years past that's how I thought it went. I just called game and fish and waited 30 mins like all rest of the procrastinators. She said that you have to be 17 on opening day. You can turn 18 after and be legal for the whole hunt, but you can't be 18 before the hunt starts. I actually found it in the regs as well. And you were right about liscence. Your liscence is good for a calendar year. So it will save you a lot of money if you just buy a new liscence the day before your 18th birthday. Hello all, looking for a quick answer and can't find it in regs. My son turns 18 this summer. So my question is will his youth liscence expire when he turns 18, and since he is still 17, can he put in for youth hunt? Or because he will be 18 during hunt will he not be able to put in for those hunts. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for all the replies. I am pretty much sold out of all pirates tickets. I have a couple for Friday and a couple for Sunday. But that's it. Also, I have tickets for the next three weekend series that are in town. Padres, cubbies, and mets. All are lower level in sections 111/112 and 133/134. And all are 20 bucks each. Not to stir the pot anymore, but at what point is a trail cam or ground blind considered abandoned and left to rot?? Or even littering. There is a ground blind in the area I hunt that has been there since at least rifle deer season and probably much longer. Ive been in the area at least four days a week since the archery hunt started, and have never seen anyone in the area. It shows signs of sun damage. At what point can you take it, for the sake of just cleaning up the area?? Same with trail camera boxes. in the same area there are at least three trail cam boxes screwed to trees. If someone was to take them down just to clean up someone elses mess, would they be "that guy"?? Im not in anyway defending thieves, because I have had cams stolen, just curious what other hunters thoughts are

I think a lifetime tag is a great idea. I looked into it. Given his age, it wouldn't make sense from a money standpoint, though. in the long run it would actually cost more because he will be eligible for a pioneer liscence in the near future. Thanks for all the great ideas by the way. they are all great, except the burbon and depends. He doesn't drink much, and doesn't piss his pants yet. At least he doesn't tell us anyway

Hello everyone. Just wanted to get some advice on the topic of youth hunters and school work. I have a 15 year old son who has a rifle mule deer and bull elk tag coming up. His grades are terrible and he knows if he doesn't bring them up hes not going hunting. These hunts will be his first and hes very excited to go. I think there is a lot to be learned from hunting, and being in the outdoors with family and friends and I don't want him to miss out. So my question is do you let your kids go hunting if they are failing in school?? Thanks for the advice

Hi there. I have a couple of questions regarding the draw process. First, without a hunter saftey course, can my son put in for deer if he turns 14 after the draw, but before the hunt?? Also I have always been confused about the draw and how it works, If i put in for a 3rd choice that has a 80% draw odds for 1st and 2nd applicants, does that make it impossible for me to draw that hunt. Or when my app gets pulled, do they give me my 3rd,4th or 5th choice if my 1st or 2nd is not available?? Some stuff i have read makes it sound like if I dont get my 1st or 2nd, the draw will pass on my 3rd 4th or 5th, and give to applicants that have those hunts and 1st and 2nd choice. Thanks for the help
