Fellow Coueswhitetail.com members: After contemplating the enormous sacrifice that the tag donor made in giving up his sheep permit, several of us feel compelled to help him receive a token of gratitude. What better way to do this than to present him a set of replica horns from the ram that was killed with the tag he donated. AES, the tag donor and the hunter are all on board, so now all that is left to do is to collect the funds and get the work started. I am happy to collect the funds and start off the donations with the first $50 and see where things go from there. I am hoping others are willing to contribute as well. All funds collected over and above the amount necessary will be donated directly to the Hunt for Heroes program. Please send me a PM if you want to donate. That last post is total nonsense. I can tell you if left to the Feds they would all be dead. Region 4 personnel brought them back from 21 animals to where they are now. They are involved and have been involved since listing genius.

Tim where did the non paying hunter kill the cow on the hunt you were on? Also what blinds did your inlaws hunt?

Total crap shoot on those summer hunts. Not for everyone that is for sure. One thing I can say for sure is that a roast prepared rare to medium rare from a yearling bison is the best wild game I've ever had!

This sucks for the hunter but not nearly as bad as when the DPS did a Statewide Amber Alert on a former classmate of mine for allegedly kidnapping his own biological kids with his wife, their mother and ruining his career! Maroons need to get their story straight before putting innocent people on blast!

We bought my stepson a Franchi Affinity which is basically a Benelli with different cosmetic touches. It has been an outstanding gun. Not a single malfunction out of thousands and thousands of rounds that have gone through it. He is on a shooting team and shoots more in a month than most of us do all year and the gun just keeps going!
