Not sure, but my guess is maybe water pump. It is slinging water all over from leaking onto belt. Engine running not horrible, turn it off and it spills like crazy. One caveat is I am not much of a mechanic at all. Biggest job I've done by myself is changing a starter on an old Toyota pickup.

Pretty much all of the sheep north of Interstate 40 are nelsoni.

I remember when Dennis Connor and his Stars and Stripes out of San Diego kicked the crap out of the Kiwis when they brought that GIANT boat. How better to beat them than by flying a hull with that big old catamaran they built and sailed!

Pronghorn are unique animals that look similar to true African antelope but are in their own genus alone. Pronghorn are the only species I am aware of that shed only the sheath and retain a bone core. True antelope retain the horns like cattle or sheep.

I'm in the market as well but I am nearsighted and don't wear contacts. Have had two pairs of Smith (Action) Optics. Need new ones again. Its between Smith and Maui Jim. Looking at Maui Jim Stingray with bronze glass lenses depending on the price. May end up with 3rd set of Smiths.

Congrats and enjoy!

Randy Rogers Band last night at the Yuma County Fair was off the charts!
-
Saw Eric Church earlier this week, probably will see Randy Rogers Band at the County Fair next week. Going to Red Rocks to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in May. Otherwise Old Crow Medicine Show, anything on Sirius XM Bluegrass station. Plenty of other obscure and random other stuff like punk from the eighties, reggae, metal. I like LOTS of music but if it has some twang I really like it!

I inherited one of those from my old man before he passed away. Some things just don't have price, that rifle being one of those.

I was there! To each his own is right. If we all liked the same music this world would suck. As far as the boy band comment goes, that is just plain ridiculous!

Congrats to all that drew a tag! 7W Early Archery Bull Elk for me!

12x14 Davis Tent for cold or more than a week, family dome style tent from Cabelas otherwise works great for my family of 5. Davis Tent is where its at! I also don't understand the infatuation with the Chinese copy of the Original Made in USA Springbar Tent. Maybe its just me but I would much rather spend the extra $50 or $100 or whatever and get something Made in Utah! Rant over!

Two hits yesterday on my card! One is for one of the boys youth hunt for antlerless elk either 23 or 3. The other is my wife general antlerless 23 or early archery bull for me in either 7W or 4A. Amanda got drawn last year and I have five points so I think it might be me but who knows!

Went on a half day trip with a bunch of my cousins and friends for my cousin Joe's bachelor party this past Saturday. Water was cold and the fishing was slow. Slow pick of bottom critters was all that was had. I boated 6 fish I think. First was an ocean whitefish that was an inch short. Then a treefish which was a keeper. A mini ackeral was next followed by a tiny rockfish that was too small for bait. On the last stop I switch to the other side to deal with the current and got two more keepers on the next two drops! One was an olive rockfish and the other was a gopher bass. I had never caught any of these fish before other than mackeral so that was kinda cool. A few short ling cod were caught and returned along with a few decent size vermillion rockfish. One sand bass, and one good size sculpin were caught too. Other than that is was pretty slow. Probably outfished everyone else two to one so that was an ego boost, LOL! More than that it was a great time fishing with my cousins! Captain Fred Huber was running the boat and his deckhand David was helping us out. They did a heck of a job as usual. Always have fun fishing with Fred and his partner Steve on the boats from Point Loma Sportfishing!

You know now that you mention it Ed I think you are right! That's what they said though but I have no idea why! Nothing really pic worthy, sorry!

What a rip off! Better kill every single sow and piglet or they are just wasting gas and ammo.

Replica Sheep Horns for Hunt for Heroes Tag Donor - Passing the Hat
Heat posted a topic in Bighorn Sheep Hunting
Fellow Coueswhitetail.com members: After contemplating the enormous sacrifice that the tag donor made in giving up his sheep permit, several of us feel compelled to help him receive a token of gratitude. What better way to do this than to present him a set of replica horns from the ram that was killed with the tag he donated. AES, the tag donor and the hunter are all on board, so now all that is left to do is to collect the funds and get the work started. I am happy to collect the funds and start off the donations with the first $50 and see where things go from there. I am hoping others are willing to contribute as well. All funds collected over and above the amount necessary will be donated directly to the Hunt for Heroes program. Please send me a PM if you want to donate. Using Paypal would be a good way to track this ($25, $50, $75, $100). Please note that this is solely a Coueswhitetail.com effort. Happy New Year and Best of Luck in the drawings this coming year!
