Need advice on Taxidermist, Cold Storage and Meat Donation
Heat replied to Speedy's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
For taxidermy you can't go wrong with any of the ones listed under the sponsor blog. -
Nice work guys!

Best athlete from Arizona all time is named Curley Culp from Yuma, Arizona. He was the NCAA Heavyweight Wrestling Champion oh ya and I almost forgot, he is in the NFL Hall of Fame. Too old for many of us to remember but you can't argue with those accomplishments. That being said I went to U of A. Go Wildcats!

Stardust was my spot back when it was still around. Loved that place! Then it was Bill's and then they got bought. I'm out of the loop now but last time I stayed at Tropicana. It was fine.

Looks like you all had a blast! Right On!

Way to go man! Great buck!

Snapshot for the win. That's what I was after.

This is one scenario where online shopping sucks (buying shoes is another). If she bought it at Wally World or the HomeD I would have the better drill already. Walk in with drill, ask an exchange or store credit, walk out with the better drill. This way I have to basically tell her that she picked the wrong one (I need the order number), box it back up, wait for the credit to show up on my account, then buy the other drill. Meanwhile I risk hurting her feelings for my own peace of mind. Probably just going to hang on to it.

I'd shoot that buck any day, all day! AWESOME!

Joy to the World! Merry Christmas!

No doubt about it. You are talking about a pack made in the Denver area by Americans who hunt. Customer support is outstanding. Not some piece of crap made in China with a big price tag. I have bought 3, sold one (Express) to get the bigger version (Late Season). The Late Season has an internal frame and weighs right around 4 lbs, can carry all my crap for the day I could need and still comfortably able to pack an elk hindquarter out. I also have a Duplex frame with a Cargo Panel for the heavy hauling or unusually shaped loads. This gives me infinite options.

The stats printed in the Regs regarding hunt success are from 2 seasons prior not the season previous. Draw success is from previous year.

I'm convinced that decoys helped me kill my elk this year. Definitely needs to be someone else holding it as aka described perfectly. The bull I got practically stepped on the guy holding it and his back was to the bull!

You hit the nail on the head twice there!

Edge I am not trying to get in an argument with you but a few posts above this someone suggested to keep sending the petition to the Governor.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Love that ram! That flaring look is so cool. Sounds like you had the kind of hunt we all dream about and try to make happen as often as we can. Thanks for sharing your hunt with us. Congratulations man!

A little History for some who may not be aware but when an initiative to ban ballot propositions for wildlife was attempted in 2000 (Prop 102) we lost! In 2010 we tried Prop 109 to give us the right to hunt and fish and we lost! We simply cannot afford to let this get on the ballot. We will lose. I will keep beating this drum until it starts to sink in. Petitions with no legal ramifications will accomplish very little. We need to get talking to people who don't hunt! The Governor can't do anything about this if it passes just like when MMJ passed and when that stupid minimum wage law passed. They have no say on ballot initiatives other than their own single vote like mine.

Wow! Awesome buck! Thanks for sharing.

Game and Fish came to our Club and rolled out some proposed changes to the regs. This stuff right here came up and they are proposed to be illegal for the take of wildlife outright. Trail cameras within 1/4 mile of a developed water is proposed to be illegal for the take of wildlife. Now I saw it in writing with my own two eyes. It's coming.

That is a great story! That is what its all about! Big Congratulations to you and your Dad!

Right on David! That is great, congratulations to the young lady and your friends. Those late hunts can be tough. Way to get it done.
