Right on Chris! Thanks for sharing with us. You and Joe are killing it as usual.

Way cool! Nice to see guys helping each other out, instead of tearing each other down, which seems to be more common around here than it used to be.

Personally I won't fault a guy for showing his passion accompanied by some waterworks. What if I told you that isn't the first time I've seen him cry in Public?

There is a Cat 4 hurricane already spinning around out there south of Baja. That might bring us some moisture next weekend but probably not much. Probably will head to the west and nada. If it comes back to the east well then we might have a little something to talk about.

Good Luck! Please share with us when you return.

Great job Flatlander!

That was worth watching just to see that look on the face of the Department's rep that made the recommendation, like he just took a bite of a turd sandwich, lol!

Silly question for anyone who might be watching the Commission Meeting...why are there now 3 organizations for deer in the State. PM is cool if you don't want to spill it here. -
I firmly believe I drew rifle pronghorn and sheep in 2010 because #1 I had good luck and #2 you had to fill out a paper app that year and front the cash #3 the economy was still bad.

I have no real experience pulling a heavy trailer but dragging a few lighter loads and boats with my 1/2 ton tells me that even a small amount of heavy pulling should be done with a 3/4 ton. Good Luck, you are blessed to have a wife that shares your interest to get outdoors. Not a bad problem to have!

Word on the street is the Commission is considering a revised proposal that may only ban the cams in alternative management units for deer and elk from August through January or something very similar. -
I remember an early June trip my cousin and I went on when I caught 13 albacore in one day. Kept my 10 and was done for the trip. I hooked and handed off only on day 2. It was epic! I caught fish on the troll, on bait, on iron, you name it!

Its hard for me to give an accurate estimate of score without a good head on shot but that being said that is a shooter on the first day in about 90% of the units for most guys in my opinion. Gross score mid to high 160s all day long, maybe more. Good Luck!

If you have any wisdom to share about visiting Glacier National Park please do. If it has anything to do with fishing in the area, that would be even better! My wife and I will be bringing our 4 year old and my Mom who will be 74 by then. We'll be staying in Hungry Horse during our visit in a house right on the Flathead River.

We are going a little before and during Labor Day weekend.

Big Lake is a gem! I need to get there more often.

Good luck to all of you guys carrying a stik bow in the field this year!

Praise the Lord for the healing that has taken place and what is still to come. I am so happy that your little girl is doing well. -
They won't have much on the boat, but they will probably give you some stuff with your rental rod. You won't need anything besides some sharp hooks if the bite is good. Don't really worry much about other tackle. I personally like ringed circle hooks. I think it lets the bait swim a bit more free and I think you get a little better hook set in the corner of the fishes mouth. You can bring your own food I suppose but the cook will be working to make tips so let them cook you a burger or two. They are usually pretty good. Bring some cash for tips for the crew, fish cleaning and jackpot if you are interested. 10% of the trip price for tip is decent, if you are a new guy you might want to tip more than that. Chances are they will be fixing lots of tangles for you. Filleting is going to run you 5-10 bucks a fish for the tunas, maybe more. Its been a few years since I've been. Have fun!

Unless the spine is way off like that I would go ahead and keep doing what you are doing. I also like a little extra out front. Good Luck!

Lousy customer servicwe from Leica USA
Heat replied to Capt. Don Martin's topic in Optics and tripods
I know this is about Leica and I don't mean to take this on a Pentax tangent but I ruined a pair and admitted to it and they sent me a new set for free! 10x50's cost about 5 hundo new. Glad you are getting taken care of Don. Good on Doug!
