I doubt we will have enough people to commit at the same time to a Charter nor a Chartermaster willing to take the risk to book an entire boat on their dime. Probably need to jump on an open party trip.

No plans yet. Most boats have released their schedules by now. I'm down with Outrider, Islander, New Lo An or open to other ideas. Aztec already sold out their open party trips for September or they are all chartered.
-
Since September has officially opened up wide, who is down for a 1.5-2.5 Day Offshore Trip?
-
They used to post that info in the Hunt AZ book that was published annually. That data should still be available but I'm not sure where to refer you. It shouldn't be something they are trying to hide.

Because it doesn't say anything in here about taking pictures. It is a broad interpretation until you start talking about Take which is defined as pursuing, shooting, hunting, fishing, trapping, killing, capturing, snaring, or netting wildlife. Game and Fish has no authority to ban trail cameras if it doesn't involve the take of wildlife. This is complete nonsense if they think they can fairly enforce this proposal. Not happening. The best they can hope for is people to cower and comply. Any proposal that is not comprehensive involving every land management agency in the State is just making things a bigger mess.

#1 Don't overbow yourself-My compound is 67#, my recurves are 37-51#. 40# is plenty to start with and will kill a deer no problem. #2 Bow length somewhat corresponds with draw length, don't get a 52" bow if you draw like 30". 58 or 60" is a good medium length. Agree about Bear Grizzly. Don't spend too much in your first bow but get something you like and will want to shoot. #3 Find a mentor or join a club. This one is kinda self explanatory. Happy to help, ask lots of questions! Lots of sites on Facebook to buy used bows. I can help with that too. Feel free to contact me by pm if you prefer. Good luck and have fun!

Nada here yet.

No. If your card was charged during the app process you will get a point. I know this because I intentionally had my app rejected by turning it off the day the credit cards were to be run when I realized I put in for a hunt I was likely to draw that I didn't want a couple years ago. I got a new point, kept my loyalty, and did not draw the one I did not want, but would have otherwise. I know that because my bank said a charge from AZGFD was rejected.

Seriously. The version they had like 20 years ago was 10x better than what they have now. If they were a private business and their front end system was this bad they would be bankrupt a long time ago.

Kifaru vs mystery ranch vs stone glacier vs Kuiu
Heat replied to BowhunterAZ's topic in The Campfire
IMO Kifaru and Stone Glacier are in a different league than Kuiu and Mystery Ranch. USA vs Vietnam or Phillipines. Kifaru suspension is proven for hauling as heavy as you can manage with relative comfort. -

Heat replied to SirRoyal's topic in The Campfire
Talk about a stretch, that is ridiculous! My question is why are they going to GRRC now? -

I'm curious what you might be looking for as compensation. I've heard of pick of the litter for payment but wondering what a reasonable stud fee is on a dog?

Weird questions but maybe you guys can help me with my ethical and technical questions...My wife bought me a cordless drill from Amazon for Christmas. Was hoping I would get the Brushless motor version of the drill but I received the Brushed motor version (wife has no clue about stuff like this). Every review I have read says the Brushless is more efficient and more powerful. They cost exactly the same and both come with the same accessories. I am not a contractor and this thing will only see occasional household use. Would it be a jerk move to send it back and get the better one or should I just be happy with what I got? Am I even going to notice a difference? The brushless is lighter, has more watts, and can drill almost twice as many holes on the same charge as the one I got according to reviews. I kinda feel like Amazon pulled a fast one with them both being the same price and available on the same page. What would you do?

Sounds like a great hunt! Congratulations to Tessa! Thanks for sharing.
