    "Medical" pot

Everything in moderation my friend. I believe Ben Franklin said it best. "Beer is God's way of telling us he loves us and wants us to be happy" Joe

    61" main beam

I have a matching set of sheds (brownies) that will score right at 350 with an average spread. I too would like to sell them. If anyone has interest or could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks

    Ammunition

There are so many good bullets on the market these days. I agree with figuring out which your gun likes the best. I have had good luck with Fusion 130gr. in a .270win

    AZ Taxidermists?

You cannot go wrong with Wellers. However, if it's a sheep you do have to strongly consider TR Taxidermy in Flagstaff as RedRabbit eluded to. TR Taxidermy has mounted some very impressive sheep. They have won many awards for good reason. His clientele is basically word of mouth but he has done work on many of the biggest rams ever harvested in this state and he is exceptional. So I guess this would be the words of my mouth! BTW he has done all of my Coues deer and I couldn't be happier. Going back to "the post" regarding taxidermy some of us can breathe easy with our trophies.

Need an Elk Guide for father

Definitely give Matt a call at Borderland Adventures. Top Notch outfitter, great bunch of guys at Borderland. Your Dad will not be disappointed. He helped me on a 6a bull hunt a few years back, and if I could ever get the tag again I will not hesitate to ask for his help again!

    outfitter 35A

Nobody knows the Southern Units like Borderland Adventures. I've hunted with them for years. They are in the field year round and consistently produce world class coues deer for their clients. I would urge anyone looking for an outfitter to contact these guys. Not only are they incredible hunters, but they are very easy to get along with and that makes the hunt that much more enjoyable. Glad to see they are a sponsor! My .02! Joe

    Shark Bow Fishing

You know what sucks about that?......................Nothing. Congrats looks like a lot of fun!
  12. What about Stinkpigs, Robert Kitties, Thunderchickens, carp deer etc? I don't think anyone means any disrespect to the animals bud. They're just funny nicknames. Frankly Mule deer sounds a like a funny moniker to me. Just sayin.

    Boycott "Los Suns"

Well, not to stir the pot but there is a "tickets sold" number and a number from the Gate for those who entered the arena. NBA teams use the latter number in an effort to determine concession revenues. More to the point though, how many folks do you guys figure stayed home with their tickets last night in protest? It's my contention it was a dang small number. At the end of the day its a Suns playoff game! Or Los Suns sorry.

    Boycott "Los Suns"

Too Bad! I really wanted "Los Scums" to be the true losers that they are! For a playoff game, there sure were a lot of empty seats. As far as Nash goes, he's a little ignorant of his home country's immigration laws. I have traveled all over the world for my job , and the only problem I ever had was getting into Canada. I was refused entry because they were afraid that I was doing a job that a Canadian could do (flight test of a helicopter autopilot system). Mark Um, I wasn't at the game but 18,400 people is a pretty packed house. Just sayin.

    Ain't it draw time yet

I will beg to differ. The draw results will be out within the month of March. Just as they did last year. Good luck everybody!!

  20. Hello everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. (I think) I am probably jinxing myself but I will be bowhunting in 6a and have located a herd of pigs to hunt. Is there anyone in the Flagstaff area that would like Javelina meat? I love to hunt them but usually consider a successful hunt stalking to 15 yards and missing clean! Just can't eat these critters. Yes, I've had them every way imaginable, just not a fan and was lucky enough to harvest a coues deer and a cow elk, so the freezers full. Any takers if I happen to arrow one? Thanks! Joe

Who would want to eat a javi?

Now I won't shoot one and let the meat go to waste! That was why I posted. It sounds like I have options and it was funny to hear everyone's piggy stories. Having said that I am destined to miss since I started asking who wants my javi meat for my hunt next month! Gonna get the stickbow out again and shoot at snow in the backyard Thanks again everyone! And God bless all of the families who have suffered such great losses. And here's to hoping nobody dignifies you know who with a response on anything!

Who would want to eat a javi?

Thank you everyone for the insight and ideas. I have to say I'm with Scottyboy here. I have taken great care to field dress these critters and I just don't have any interest in eating them. Typically I have someone to take them off my hands. Donating the meat seems like a great idea. I have heard about digging a big hole and wrapping them in burlap for 8 hours. Then unwrap it and eat the burlap. Sounds like a lot of work and I don't care for burlap either.

Well said Bill! My sentiments exactly.

    Another small but tasty coues

Congratulations! I have suffered the same plight for many years. It is hard to pass the little guys. You will overcome the urge next time! It took me awhile! Great job, and do remember any coues is a trophy coues!
