    #@%!& shotgun sights!!

No, not really. A single front bead is still very standard. You don't need a rear bead, just make sure you have the front bead where it needs to be. A whole lotta people have a whole lotta success with only one bead. I'd chalk this one up to excitement. It happens man, it's happened to me. It'll happen again, to both of us, rear bead or not. Better luck next time.

    Caging Bobcats

I realize camera angles and such can play a role but this looks like it could be pushing 40 pounds to me. You may have seen this pic already Hyperwrx, and may know more about it. This was posted online from a well known predator hunter and i believe it to be authentic. Looks big to me. I do not know what it tipped the scales at though...

Haha, good luck with that. If Rich Rodriguez can't make a good quarterback out of him, Ericksen sure as heck won't. I'm with Lark, unconditional hate is fundamental in a good rivalry. Sanity or good factual arguments are irrelevant because you have to stick with your team good or bad, win or lose, heroes or screw-ups. So piss off scumdevils, I hate you. Threet is a tool, scumdevil football sucks, Ericksen is a decrepit moron, and the team is composed of a bunch of thugs. Also let's lay off the NAU bashing. The lumberjacks have given ASSu a good game more than once. It's only a matter of time Also attending a school has no bearing on whether or not you can be a fan. The only true requirement is loyalty. Before you try and hammer me ScumDevil, I'm NAU alum and I'll have a doctorate from UofA in may. But even before I enrolled at Arizona I couldn't stand the pinchis scumdevils. Go Cats!

    boiled peanuts?

From what I understand this is a popular snack in the Phillipines. The ones I had were just boiled in saltwater, no cajun spice. They were OK, I prefer raw peanuts myself.

    Congresswoman Giffords shot

The right to a trial is one of the things that makes this country great...but it used to be when the verdict came in the punishment was swift and appropriate. We'll see what happens with this one, but it used to be that they'd of had him tried and swinging from the gallows, in public, on Sunday. NOT after rotting in prison for twenty years and publishing an autobiography on my dime, but the next scheduled hanging after the verdict was handed down. Given that he probably will just rot in prison and continue to be sensationalized by the media, justice would have been served better if he had just been stoned in the parking lot by the folks who took him down.

    Congrats to huntingfool

Thanks Casey. Some good things happened on Saturday as well, there were a lot of new babies in the UMC nursery this weekend. It's and incredibly tragic thing that happened and my heart goes out to the families who lost instead of gained. What a shame. I guess I should post some pics. Here's mommy and our new little girl Jenna Elizabeth: Here she is again:

Fender Standard Stratocaster and Princeton Chorus Amp

Bump. The amp is a cool amp, it does a lot. It has two reverb settings and others like chorus, hall, delay etc. I think I paid around $600 OTD when I bought it.
  18. I have a Fender Standard Stratocaster in arctic white, in very good condition. I'll miss her, but I haven't played her more than a handful of times in the last 7 years. $350 Also have a Fender Princeton Chorus amp, also in good condition. Like I said, I never play anymore so this can go too. $400 Here's a review of the amp: http://www.musicgearreview.com/reviews/Fen...eton-chorus.htm I'm open to trades, I could use a good scope, 12x to 16x range.

    new mascot name for

I would have bet $500 on the Huskers to beat the crappy huskies. Ridiculous. And Jake Locker...he's a tough kid who's kinda fun to watch against a lousy defense, but come on. Nebraska just didn't show up.. His QB rating is like 85, is this his first winning season yet? All this talk about a high draft pick is so silly. I hate the Sooners, come on UConn!

Fender Standard Stratocaster and Princeton Chorus Amp

No it's the Mexican one. I know that back when I used to look at them, the American ones were more like $700...so I never got one!

    Our first 3-dog Day!

I'm probably not gonna have time in the near future, but if somebody were to put something together I would try to make it. My schedule is gonna be very hit and miss here shortly.
  24. I haven't been out much for predators this year, I spent a lot of time getting my deer rifle set up to shoot longer range. So my free time has mostly been spent shooting that rifle. After elk season I haven't had much time to go out, but today my partner and I headed out for a half day of calling. We had a new spot in mind that we thought would be good and it payed off. We were on stand when the sun came up and about ten minutes in this female came screaming in from my side. Man she was screaming, I had my rifle and Casey had his shotgun so I was gonna let her fly by me and let the shotgun do the dirty work. She got to about ten yards from me, hard charging the foxpro/decoy but then she hit the brakes. I assumed she must have seen Casey raise up and that he was on her, but he didn't shoot and she lit out the way she came. So I dropped her on the way out, at maybe thirty yards. Turns out he saw her as she was hitting the brakes and thought I was gonna get her. I did: At the end of stand 1, Casey saw either a small coyote or more likely fox take off as he stood up. It got away. On the way to stand two we saw one cross the road, so we made stand 2 right there. Stands 2-4 were dry. Stand 5 Casey saw one pop in and leave at about 15 minutes, no shots fired. Stand 6 we were in more open country so we both had rifles, Casey had only killed one coyote with his AR (specifically for predators) so it really needed some action. At maybe 3-4 minutes I heard him shoot, the again, then again, then again... he hit it every time but it wouldn't stay down. He hit it low the first time, but had several nasty wounds. We are both surprised he needed 4 shots. Here's coyote #2 with the AR: Stand 7 was to be our last, and we made it count. Again, at 3-4 minutes I here Casey shoot...then again, and again. Again, first shot was low and he needed more. He was shooting 40gr v-max from the .223, he's thinking about some heavier bullets. They did make a pretty good mess, but both dogs needed extra shots. Regardless, we got them. Casey's first dog was a young male but this fella was a little bigger: So in all we made 7 stands, saw 5 dogs, killed 3. This was our first 3-dog day together. We've only been at it a couple years but we're improving!
