It did occur to me before I went out that pelts aren't prime yet but to be honest I wasn't really expecting a bobcat when I went out. This is my first one that I've called in myself so I took it. Given my track record of at least a hundred stands and this is my first cat called, I'm not sure passing on them would be a productive approach to me killing cats...not everybody kills a hundred cats a year Josh! Even though the pelt isn't prime it's still pretty enough for me, the fur isn't real long yet but it will still look good. However the idea of selling cat pelts sounds fine to me, if you ever want to show me the ropes I'd be more than glad to learn what I could from you. I know if I could sell even a couple pelts a year my wife would be waaaaay more receptive to me going out. Plus they'd be a whole lotta fun to go get

I'm new to hunting the southern units to be honest. I'm relatively new to Tucson and therefore relatively naive to the ongoing problems with illegal immigrants. I'll tell you this though; I refuse to let those aliens decide when and where I will hunt. This is my country, not theirs. I'm gonna go where I can find a deer to shoot, and I'll take the precautions necessary to prevent harm to myself. I've spoken with another member of this board who feels the same way. I won't be intimidated in my own country, my homeland. I will not run from this rabble of imposters. I won't change my attitude towards what I love to do. They are the imposters, not me. I encourage the rest of you to do the same. Screw them, let's do what we want. This is our country! Don't let them decide what we will do, but rather let them worry about us. We are in the right, not them. Maybe I'm just young and dumb, but at least consider this before you back down. We have the right to hunt where we dang well please. That's the way I see it anyway.

Hey I've got some .308 Norma Mag ammo for sale. One box (18) 180gr factory ammo by Norma. Also there are 33 rounds of reloads with 180gr Nosler Partitions. I don't know the guy who made the reloads so they are being sold as components only-shoot at your own risk. They appear to be done right but like I said that's for you to decide. Asking $45 for all of it. I imagine that's what just the box of ammo would cost, without the extra 31 pieces of primed Norma brass. I don't have pics right now but I can take some if somebody wants me too. Trades: 150 or 168gr Barnes TTSX 165gr Nosler Accubonds or Hornady Interbonds 7.62x39 ammo 30-06 ammo 30-30 ammo 9mm ammo .45 acp/colt ammo 357 ammo 12 ga buckshot

Yeah, nobody shoots this caliber huh?

Free bump for an AWESOME coyote rig. If I had money or an older kid I'd buy this one. Great caliber for coues and smaller, and yes it'll smoke muleys too, despite internet nonsense. Casey, buy this thing so I don't have to keep glaring at it. You could have your very own "killer".

Ok here's the scoop. My bro is in town for the weekend and he's looking to sell this Systema 1911 style Argentina made under the supervision of colt. Stamped D.G.F.M-(F.M.A.P.)Sist. Colt Cal. 11.25mm mod. 1927. He bought this pistol around a year ago (used) and has shot it once (43 rounds) since he's had it. He is in Tucson now and will be in phoenix friday evening. Asking $425 or trade for: Ruger LCP Ruger SP101 Rifle in .243win AR upper/lower/complete, +/- cash on his/your part sks ammo or parts or...try him [smilie=icon_mrgreen.gif] F.Y.I he is a board member but doesn't have classifieds access, so I'm posting for him. He is a LEO so no worries about legal to own. He has his creds with him.

I thought you hunted 2 days... Anyway yeah I'll let you find me a nice buck to shoot this year Chef, we don't know for sure. The only markings on it are the numbr "23" so we are guessing yes, but we don't really know. He said it didn't jam at all, but he only put 1 box of shells thru it.

I'm a meat hunter. You know this. And I'm not eating tag soup this year...feel free to stop by sometime when you're hungry...

You turd. I was just telling him that I should post some pics on here, or that he should join and he should post 'em. And hey, I shot a bigger buck than you this year...

I have a friend in search of a Ruger SP101 for his wife. He'll be away a bit this summer and wants to buy some protection for her. PM me if you have any leads, thanks. P.S. He's in Tucson, but he travels to Phoenix fairly regularly.

1 Last Day of Predator Calling
huntingfool replied to palivs2hnt's topic in Predator Hunting and Trapping
Good job on those predators! I missed a fox at like 35 yards a couple of weeks ago with my scattergun...my first fox still eludes me. Guess I'll have to wait until september rolls around to get a fox pelt. -
That's pretty cool. My wife and I saw an albino mourning dove today in our neighborhood. Wish we had our camera...

killed by a stinkin' "illegal" alien
huntingfool replied to .270's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
That pretty much sums it up. The federal government doesn't seem to want to fix the problem. If they did, the consequences of bringing poison and weapons into our country would amount to something. Nobody wants to step on anybody's toes these days. We have identified a problem and the government just throws money at it instead of buckling down and fixing it. With all the "but it isn't fair to hurt people" attitude in this country, nothing is gonna get done. Until we're ready to use force, this is the way it's going to be. Things are gonna have to get bloody before they get better. Sooner or later the people are gonna have to figure out how bad they want this to stop. I know if that had been my dad, I'd be ready to fight right now, government backing or not. -

+1 in case you need more re-assurance. Test 'em out on as many coyotes as you can. Take pictures. -
My understanding of the law: I believe the age is 18 for both long-guns and handguns for private transactions. Selling a handgun registered to an FFL must go to someone 21yrs old with background check yada yada. Also after a legal transaction of a firearm, it isn't yours anymore, I don't see why it would matter if it goes across the state line...I can sell firearms to persons outside the state all day long online. For the seller, a bill of sale and/or checking a DL or CCW helps your arguement that you were acting in good faith selling the firearm to someone who can legally own it. Legally you don't need one, lots of buyers don't want one, but the biggest benefit I can see is for the buyer, so the seller doesn't report the gun as stolen two weeks later and if the serial number gets ran you have a stolen firearm in your possession without a bill of sale. Sorry to clog up your thread, I've been eying this pistol since it was put up, wish I had the cash or something to trade...

Haha, I just looked that site up. Since I have 2 points my draw odds are only 5.6% for december 36B WT. BUT, for you gents with 6 or more bonus points, you have 100% draw odds. A slam dunk! Ha ha, what a crock.
