I assume you live in Ajo. Do you ever make it to 3 points or Tucson? I am interested if we can work something out. Chris 437-5437 -
could be a good one!

Depends on what you want out of the hunt…. Trophy hunter the 15's and Spotter are great. If your packing in and need to save weight the 10's and Spotter. If your just looking for a good representative then the 15s are all you need.

Larry at least be honest yes I live far west but….you are Western New Mexico. Although we both work in Tucson and I am sure both are willing to meet somewhere if you are wanting to check out our setups. Although Larry's may be newer as he never has time to get out and hunt. He would rather work all the darn time then to spent time if the field. Chris

I also have the Tines up… it is great and will do all that you want. That is the easy part, the camera that matches up to your spotter is the hard part. I would warn you that zoom is important but what is more important is lens size of the camera and scope you are using. its not hard but will take a little playing to get right unless you go with something that is already proven to match up. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. Both Larry and I are in Tucson so if you want to see my set up PM me and we can set up a time to chat or meet. Chris

Thanks Casey…. Casey did a great job. I found myself running out of time to get a few things taken care of and Casey took care of me and did a great job. Thanks again. Chris

I am happy with them. The one nice thing I have found was that when I am archery hunting and in close there are times I look through my binos to pick things apart through trees. It is really handy to see its a buck, judge it and range it without having to move. Before I would look, put down my binos pick up my rangefinder and then lower them without being seen. Now its one step. Anyways thats my .02 Chris

New KUIU Mountain Star Tent
motoxno53 replied to Jay Scott's topic in Jay Scott Outdoors/Colburn and Scott Outfitters
Jay, Anyone that know me knows I am 100% Kuiu but what would make you give this tent(2p) the nod over say the Tarp Tent Double Rainbow or Scarp 2? I ask as I just got the zero degree bag and am now in need of a new tent. I have been holding out for this tent but am now stuck on the Kuiu and Tarp Tent. Chris -
I have packed 2 bucks and 1 Bull with my ICON and have not had any issues. the great part of the 5200 and 7200 are the load slings. They allow you to still have gear and mean yet keep the meet out of the bag.. to me that is huge as I don't want my bag full of blood if I still have hunting to do or am helping a buddy fill a tag
-
one suggestion… if you want the 1850 buy a 3000 or 5200… for a few more ounces its worth it if you ever need it. This is where I will say it is better to have and not need then need and not have…. really your talking a few OZ for a lot more options.

I have the 3000 and 7200. Love them both over my Badlands, Eberlestock packs. like the new suspension and the technology that was taken from the mountaineering guys. The articulating hip belt and functional load lifters really do make a huge difference. If you have another questions let me now. Chris 520-437-5437

I have a Swaro 65 spotter with the 20-60 eye piece hat I would like to sale. The Glass and armor is in perfect condition, still have warrantee cards as it has never been sent in for service. The only thing that would make this scope not 100% perfect is the cord on the eye cover tore through the rubber and so I had to tie it. Really it is fine and works great and so I just never ordered a new cover(See Photo). The only reason I am putting this up for sale is because I just got the new Swaro STX scope. I would like to get $1600 and I will pay for all of the insurance and shipping. I am in Tucson, AZ Chris 520-437-5437
