180+ Coues Sheds --- You better sit down before you look!
georgenoto replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Shed Hunting
I am not sure if there is a process to verify what sub species of White Tail there are from, but they look like Northern White Tail Sheds to me -
I am hading down Friday night. Near or around Batamote. Ifyou don't mind driving a nice 4x toward me that would be nice!!! 04 Suburban black.

when are you arriving and where do you plan to hunt. I have hunted the Batamore area off of Arivaca Rd for many years. Not sure if I am going to go down Friday or Saturday morning.

I get it but I also take the time to find my game. I guess I grew up in a different era. You scouted you tracked you paid attention. Today I see all this high tech crap and thats what it is crap. Camera's, baiting its a joke. Make the effort and do it the right way. Maybe the guy who turned off your camera felt the same way I do. Seems he was actually making the effort.

I am going to be in 36A for the late Nov hunt. Near Batamote. Anybody planning on being there?

my group drew eight left over tags for the late november early december hunt and we will be camping Where are you staying. I may be alone and would prefer to camp near somebody. -
Not sure of the name of the old ranch I go through. Off Arivaca Road I think its at k17 or so. a couple miles in there is a ranch on teh left. Go through the gate and continue on. Good road. Rough hiking. lions and deer so get a lion tag. Its also one of the best quail spots I ahve ever been in.

I will be in 36A for the 11/28 hunt. I expect to camp out, but I may be alone so I am not sure yet. Generally a couple miles past the farm gate. I am not a fan of camping alone, but what can you do. Let me know if you are going to be in the area. I prefer to stay near somebody if possible. I can only sleep with one pistola in each hand. -
I prefer 36A and will be there for the Nov 28th Hunt My reasoning is actually not related to population. There is a lot less foot traffic. I have had a couple close calls in 36B if you know what I mean. Generally the hunters in 36a are coming off of Arivaca Rd. If you come in from another area its generally kinda of quiet. Anybody want to hook up let me know.
