Lord I lift up Mike one of yours in prayer, asking for strength and wisdom in the days to come. Lord I ask for healing, physically and spiritually for this man. May it be your will that his family remain together and through these trials and pain they will be blessed. Lord I also pray that you be with the surgeon and other medical staff in this operation. Mike a verse for you. Isaiah 41:10 The Lord Jesus is faithful!!!

Last time I was up in that country, they did not let you go through Rose Well. Doug gave you good advice but, be prepared for one long dusty ride if you go that way. Happy hunting! Bye the way, if you go through the Freeman stay on the main drag because Mike Oden does not tolerate trespassing. The signs are big and intimidating but, you can drive through on main county road. If you don't have a unit 10 map yet, you can get them from Game and Fish.

GRONG would you please give us your prices for different grades of elk antler broke and not? Thank You in advance.

There are buyers (middle men) who do not pay as much as you can get from a a person who craft with them. Be patient not desperate to sell. E-bay also is a decent option.

Sad and painful for them. They have been lifted up in prayer.

Such a popular question nowadays with all the popularity and interest. Here is my two cents. First and most important in my OPINION is to scout and find the areas that bulls and or bucks favor when they are in bachelor groups. Typically this is their winter range areas. There will be very young bucks or bulls sometimes with the girls. The core hunting areas will tend to overlap or be close to the cow/doe areas. After you locate your quarry prior to shed season, pray that all the bone craving competition does not push them out of the area! As earlier stated be patient while looking and waiting for them to cast their antlers. Did I mention patient? You find antlers where you would find the animal it self. Feeding and bedding areas, draws,CANYONS,saddles, ridges ,flats, south facing slopes, ect. ect. Most of my antlers have been found by working very hard, putting many miles in. I have hiked ALL day and found nothing and I have stepped out of my pick-up and found world class bone within minutes. It seems I find them when I least expect it. Try to follow track when you can. I have honestly put in over seven hundred miles in the last eleven years. Use to hunt them year round but now for three months only. If your passion is to take it ALL in, be persistent and you will be rewarded! Be prepared for all the foot track and quad track. This antler thing is VERY popular and competition is fierce!!! Word of mouth is powerful so when you get zeroed in on a hunting spot, keep your mouth shut. Optics when possible to use can be very productive. When your walking sweep your eyes back and forth trying to catch something out of place. Look down only enough to avoid tripping or stepping on a rattler late spring time. Early spring food sources typically consist of browse such as cliff rose, mountain mahogany, shrub oak. It is amazing to me all the different things elk will eat! I was long winded but, hope you can utilize some of this information. Try not to push the animals causing them stress when their trying rest and fatten-up. Best wishes and happy hunting!

Great story and thanks for sharing. Like most believers would experience, my eyes were full of water as I read. God can and does change lives and softens even the hardest of hearts. Lord thank you for your grace and mercy in my life and calling me to you. In remembrance of the Lord on this Happy Day!!! Jeremiah 29:11

My wife Crystal has a younger brother that recently moved up here from the valley. She is happy that she can have a relationship with him now that he is here. Her brother Scott is in bondage to a number of substances. Crystal takes on his personal problems and worries regularly about him physically and spiritually. Crystal needs prayer for peace. She takes on his problems in a unhealthy way. She literally has the feelings that a concerned mother would. We have prayed together for her peace and to place her trust in God. We really could use some intercessory prayer for her and her brother. Thanks in advance.

Brian, thanks for sharing this and yes very appropriate indeed. My wife and I try to regularly pray for this country and the leaders on all levels. A country that does not know where it came from does not know where it is going.

Well boys I have been told by a friend there are wild pigs down by Tucson that have been hunted by a friend of my friend. I was told he took a huge one close to 600lbs. Game and Fish may not want them around therefore not managing them. The rest of the story is that apparently some Russian bore farmer went belly-up and instead of being responsible with his pigs he released them. If my memory serves me correctly, this place where they were released was South East of Tucson. I was interested in this for a possible meat hunt in the winter when the desert is cooler however, I never followed up. The person that shared this info. with me is straight-up and I have great respect for him.

I have been employed for nearly twenty years with Prescott Historical Society and with these uncertain times its easy to allow fear to creep in. We serve an awesome and faithful God. We must not put our trust in our money, possessions or, positions. I am not ashamed to say my trust is in the Lord Jesus Christ knowing he wants the very best for those who belong to him. Remember the spirit of fear is not of God. We have so much to be grateful for in this country. My family and I will sacrifice if necessary to adjust to changes and keep our eyes on the Lord. Thank you Lord for your provisions and faithfulness. Amen
