Decided to go with this smitty built bumper, had a couple of pms from different members telling me to go with this one. Looks good, time will tell. Thanks everyone

Ha ha ha Tim! yea those bumpers dont budge with animals, only when we hit boulders they get ding a little bit!

Thanks again guys, yea Im planning on spending some extra money on it. I dont want to go to crazy though, Im a pretty simple guy. My wife and kids hit a deer 🦌 head on last month while traveling to come see me at work. Thank goodness my wife is Totally AWESOME and kept the kids safe and Truck on the road. Those Ram bumpers are pretty tough, not a lot of damage. The bumper got pushed in pretty good, grill busted, but everything is else is good. I actually used it all last week on my deer hunt. Just trying to replace it with something tougher, as much as I travel these days it might happen again.

Been a long time coming but when I found out I drew a deer tag in a Unit where Ive seen Grouse I was pretty darn excited! I ended up taking 2 weeks off work just so I could be prepared to hunt these neat birds. Seems like every time I see one they are not in season and look so easy to take. Lots of friends see them all the time, but every time the last 4 years Ive been out hunting for them its been rough. Their breeding season is earlier in the year and after watching a couple of episodes of meateater I began doing more research on them. You can listen for them in the rut for locating birds. I have been out a couple of time and marked their location. The home territory of a Grouse is only 1-2 Acres. I tried to ask the Biologist (Jim Odell) from AZGF but he basically said good luck, spots are limited. So I had gone up before the deer hunt to hunt Grouse and scout. To be honest if I tagged a buck, it would be a bonus as the real trophy I was after was the Dusky Blue Grouse. Well I actually accomplished it and took my first Grouse before my buck which I tagged a WT a few days later.

Is the beak orange or yellow? From my buddy Lookd orange to me. If it's yellow, it's probably a drake. Usually the blondes are only hens. -

Great job Dad! Thats totally awesome Yea I have yet to see a buck without the bot fly larva, very common. -
^^^ this right here, I had switched over to Swartz and fixed the problem It's not a glass or mount issue. I have always put the eye cups of binoculars lightly in contact with the area around my eyes. For some reason it's a habit I can't seem to break. After 3 days straight my eyes are sore again. Zeke-Be is on the right track. Gotcha! Yea good topic

A winch would fix that real quick!

Ha ha to funny!

Yea you need to at least hit 145 degrees but I cooked all my meat to 165 degrees as recommend for pork to kill trichinosis. So I myself wouldnt risk it. But I use my oven or pellet smoker for jerky. Let us know how it goes and taste.
