. My buddy sent these pics to me a few months back. He works for the USDA as a trapper. The pics are not him but from a friend of his. I know they're Eastern Whitetail (sorry) but something to pass the time as we wait for the elk results right?

17 fireball Just kidding, I do love my Fireball but I'll have to stick with my 300 RUM, I'm on my 2nd RUM, just finishing it up after over a year process of getting it put together. I have been shooting the RUM for over 6 years now and love everything about it. Berger 210 VLD's, has a decent BC.

Yeah I could of messed up Amanda! But it is a great cause I should of bit the bullet and got it. I think it was 25 for the plate per year and then 25-17 dollars for the donation per year. Anyaways It looks great!

I have the old style wildlife con plate! They really did a great job on this new one. I was just about to get one and realized the cost was quite a bit. I just renewed to a standard plate for 5 years for 186.00 The custom plate would have been 380.00 for 5 years

How much for the RL550B without the 300 Rum die setup? The extra black steel base(strong mount), extra tool holder, xl powder die, magnum powder system, extra tray, optional aluminum roller handle, cartridge case bin, low powder sensor, primer flip tray and dillon case lubricant.

Not to hijack your thread here, but when are results supposed to be out?

Bow range shouldn't be a prob if the hens are sitting on the eggs. Just remember turkeys can see about 270 degrees without twitching there head, and as turkey do they always twitch thier head! That being said they can see 360 degrees all the time. Just remember they have about 12 times better vision than humans. Cover everything and stay away from certian colors like white, purple, red. They can smell but I heard they dont use it as a defense sense. So when you draw back, draw fast, or right before they come in, or when they are behind something! Good luck, I will envy you if you get one with your bow! Im sure others here can give ya some more pointers as well!

Later Hunts are easier to call in those lonely toms!!! Gernerally I only hunt the later hunts. They get lonely and want to service those hens, but the hens are usually sitting on thier eggs. So Hen calls work out really good anywhere from 10am through 4pm on the late hunt. The Toms will come running in if they are near by. Scouting is a key factor
