What is Outdoorsman and where to I find them? I like doing business with Sportsman's Warehouse, but I don't think they carry Talley. I assume they are reputable; could someone post their link? Does anyone know of any Talley dealers in the East/Southeast Valley? The only dealer I can find on Talley's website is in Scottsdale. http://www.outdoorsmans.com/ 10004 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85020 602-944-7121 | 1-800-291-8065 I have spent lots of pesos with these guys! They are great to deal with. Its a small shop but they deal wit all the high end hunting equipment. I think if you call talley and tell them what scope and rifle you have they can tell you the exact part number you need for your setup.

+ 1 I think all factory ammo is crimped just so the bullet does not seat back into the brass creating higher presures. Crimping can be difficult if your new to it IMO because you dont want to crimp it to much jacking the presures way up when that round struggles from comming out. The only thing that I crimp is my lever action rifles (hence that the bullets sit on top of each other) that have a tube fed magazine and most of my pistols. Also I am starting to crimp my semi automatic rifles (223 A-15) as well to ensure that the bullet does not move at all in the magazine from being loaded into the chamber. For all my bolt action rifles I do not crimp them. This is just my 2 cents, but there are some guys that do crimp everything and alot of members on here that can give you some more information like Lark and 308nut.

Wow check that out!!! Great buck and awesome pictures! Good thing you waited to the next morning to recover him, might of had a lion to deal with in the darkness (my worse nightmare). I bet the Lion was still close by though!!! Did you guys here any shots from the guys on horse back? Pretty cool how those main beams hook back!! -
I have a friend that can install a muzzle brake for 130 with quick turn around if you need one! I just edited this post to show the triclawps up close. Good idea cramerhunts!

Wow nice job on your first buck!

Great job

If you can hit it in a vital zone I think it depends on how much kinetic energy the bullet has when hitting its target on the right weight of animal.

Bump for a nice GPS
