+ 5 2 years ago I hiked over to a ridge to start glassing and realized that my stud came off my 15's. It was clearly lost somewhere in the brush. Lesson learned is to make sure every part is nice and tightened down before you go hiking. I ended up putting some blue locktite on the threads of the new stud for extra peace of mind. Anyways the Outdoorsmans is a great product!

Great caller, limited on volume, but sometimes you don't need the extra high volume

Rifle Build 7mm WSM (updated completed with pics)
Couzer replied to Couzer's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Cool shayne! Post some pics when you get it rolling! I was very very happy with hart on my last rifle. Are you going to do any certain fluting on the barrel? Pooter your pretty funny! Although that would stink if that really happened! Your going to be jealous when I knock some coyotes tomorrow with the 25 wssm! -
stuck cases in my resizing die
Couzer replied to swaro06's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Careful not to put to much on the outside, it doesn't take much. One thing that has helped me is to lube the inside of the brass where the bullet is seated. I have had a few stuck cases, but eliminated this when I started lubing the inside. I use brake cleaner to clean the lube off. I've only had problems with the large caliber rounds. Hopefully this helps. -
For me it's the gas money!!!!

Thanks guys for your comments! John my buck had a big ol body, I couldn’t believe how much meat I got off him, defiantly a lot bigger than my brothers. For as the rifles used, mine was a Custom Hart 300 RUM on a Remington action, the 210 vld did a great job. I did the gutless method when getting the meat off so I didn’t get a chance to recover the bullet. Only one small hole, and no exit at 225 yards. My brother took his buck with a 7mm Tikka T3 Lite. It was hard to believe his buck was in that steep canyon, if you click on the picture to blow it up, you can barely make Scott out in the picture. Clint, great job on your buck to!!!! To bad we didn't run into each other.
