Funny u say that because we have been hunting 3C all week since last Friday. Seen a few camps, 2-4 road hunters, and no boots on the grounds except ours. It has been a very quite week for us. We have not ran into anyone in spots we been hunting and it has been AWESOME!!!!! I'm so used to 36b on the weekend, that I thought it was a ghost town? And I will say we did not come across one 4-wheeler which amazed me. Only thing I can guess we were away from the crowed?

With over 7000 posts to my 34 it seems you've done much more talking than I have. I never said I've killed many - or any big bucks. I don't use cameras or bait to find deer. I don't use deer to prove how good I am. I don't shoot baby deer. I don't take " maybe" shots. I have the same box of ammo I bought 10 years ago with 10 rounds left. I put in plenty of work to hit what I aim at. I know my deer rifle. The rest are just toys. My .50 is my big toy. I hunt on the same mtns, mostly on my property, and shoot one round at a deer I know I can kill. I give half the meat away. And I don't think all that much of myself. But I do call it as I see it. And now I see I have to move on. I'm also waiting on word about where to go. I hope to go back east and help for a few weeks. My job/profession allows me freedom to do what I want. " don't get hung up on scores. Get hung up on hunting" lark Where is he anyway? Probably doesn't post any more because of haters like you jbird. Do us all a favor and don't post your crap anymore.

Tikka all the way! It's light weight, sako extractor, drilled bolt handle, adjustable trigger, detachable mag, guarantee I think 1" group @ 100 yards, and Sportsmans has a stainless fluted barrel model on sale now.

I have it on my 300 ultra, love every bit of it! Get it with target turrets.

Is it just me or does that picture look photo shopped? That Jag looks fat, like one you'd see in the zoo, and his feet don't seem to be touching the trail. Yeah I think something doesn't look quite right about the photo too... Yeah I know what the problem is!!! IT'S RARE!!!!

I have a buddy like that! Ha ha! I have a ex-buddy like that. Funny thing is to he has killed a lion, wt buck, and a bear in spots that everyone else showed him. But wait he is the Big White Hunter now. Never again will hunt with him! And he shows everyone the areas! And to add to this he sent me a text today, "thanks for the pic!" When i didn't send a pic of my deer i just shot because he would only ask "where area did you shoot him at?

I noticed a big difference on my Sps factory RUM. I think it depends on how you like your groups at a 100 yards? 3-4 inch to a 1/2 inch group? And just think as you go farther out to 200 yards, 300 yards, etc, the groups will increase in size. I bought 5 bags of factory RUM brass at Sportsmans, prep it, weighed it and kept the 50 that was more consistent in weight. Sold the rest on eBay. Now I can just buy nosler brass all weighed for cheaper than buying a bunch and sorting it. One or even a half a grain makes a huge difference in my opinion.
