I have looked a little into it, from what I figured it's going to cost 20k (this includes tip) for a hunt. I don't know anyone over there and also heard that you need a guide for nonresidents. I will be making the trip here in the next few years hopefully. Good topic ready to hunt, I'm also curious what others have experienced. This is my Dream Hunt to hunt Browns in Alaska. To heck with Africa! :-)

None If you have a hunting license, I do this all the time, I do carry a lion tag with me as well. You should be fine. Most game wardens are understanding, I've yet been questioned.

I'm thinking we think alike! I ordered the Burris pepr mount ( comes with a picatiny rail on top of the rings, thinking about adding a halo sight on top for close range!!! Good idea u had!

I just ordered the 3-9x40 p223 Nikon from Amazon for 149.99. I thought about the 3x32 but having some power for coyotes out to the 200-400 range I think it will be a better setup. We shall see
