I don't feel bad for anyone that doesn't draw. You can hunt elk every year if you wanted to. I put in for units that have good odds. I think I have had 3 cow tags and 4 bull tags in the last 15 years. I have bought another OTC tag as well. Just me venting and my 2 cents. On a side note 5+ years is wayyyyy to long not to hunt Elk!!!!

So I saw this post on Facebook, not trying to take credit on finding it but it brings up a very touchy subject. Nevada is proposing a ban on all trail cameras for small and big game hunting during the seasons of Aug 1st to Dec 1st public and private land. Also making it illegal year round to have a trail camera within 200 feet of a watering source, water hole, spring and etc. Would this be good or bad for AZ? I do run a few cameras and enjoy getting results on what is in the area. But what happened to the good old days when cameras did not exist? http://www.wideopenspaces.com/category/hunting/

Woah you alllllmooost lost me ^^^^^ ha ha So Lance which scope 1" tube 50mm obj Or 30mm tube 40mm obj ????, considering on the 1" you could use a moa base to achieve the the same distance, I'm no expert and I enjoy hearing your thoughts cause seems like you have knowledge

My choice was a 1" tube 50mm objective over the 30mm tube and a 40mm objective. No regrets, I have enough room for 1350 yards. My whole rifle setup with scope is just under 9.5 lbs and the clarity is outstanding

Also illegal for wildlife viewing as well USFS, BLM, etc. manages their lands for numerous outdoor activities. Game cameras and wildlife viewing are one of those activities. You can't infringe on my federally allowed activities with a state law. Good to know!!!
