Yes you can use a jaw trap if it meets arizonas laws, only on private property, and no trappers licenses needed, just have documentation and proof (pics) that the coyotes, bobcats etc are killing them.

Right on! I have a spot and need to get back in there, about 8 miles off the road. My lab found them on the ground and they flew up and stayed in the tree. It wasn't hunting season then, but I will return to kill one. Make sure you post the pics if you get one! These are cool little birds

Awesome 👏 job on taking the kids out. I was there a week ago and did pretty good 😊. My boys caught one snake and one bluegill. I put the bobber on with chimney up, easier to rig it up. Lot of good fishing in Nelsons this year! I busted out the flyrod and caught 3 really fast. Everyone around us were a little frustrated because they weren't catching nothing.

I for one glad Truehunter posted this, brings up some good info for the hunt. You betcha the paying clients are going to get those primo spots, I wouldn't see it any other way. But if a DIY hunter beats a high paying client to a spot, the paying client better go elsewhere. Just because someone dumps a ton load of salt in a area does not make it theirs or gives them first rights to that spot. If I'm going down the road and see a note saying someone is sitting a blind, I'll turn around and go elsewhere.
