They sure don't run off with a 30cal 215 grain Berger! Damage control right there, my farthest is about 350 yards.

So I didn't grow up in a hunting family and as I see my young Family start to grow I was wondering what everyone else did after they killed. I always say a prayer thanking Heavenly Father for taking the life of a animal. Sometimes vocal, sometimes quite. I have also been taught how to butcher and process my elk and deer. My wife and kids help in processing the meat. ( cool wife lets me use the kitchen ) What does everyone else do?

This is what I do also. The heart is very tasty!! I'll have to try that! I was out dove hunting a few weeks back with a old buddy from work. He told me to save the hearts on the dove and try them out. I passed, but might give it a try next time!
