Hey guys I have an elk hunt in the Flagstaff area and was wondering if anyone here provided a pack out service with mules or horses? Or Maybe you know someone in the area who does this. My wife has a bull tag in the area and if we get a bull down I will need some help getting this bull off the mountain. Please let me know prices and availability.

Hey guys up for sale is a nikon riflehunter 1000 rangefinder. It is in near perfect condition and never let me down. It has angle compensation and I have ranged reflective objects to almost 1000 yards. Also these nikon rangefinders are very responsive and easy to use. I have shot animals at 500, 685, and 700 yards using this rangefinder. It still has the original batteries and works great. That tells you how little I have used it. I am asking $225 for the rangefinder and case. Call or text 6023410552

There are a lot of arrogant people out there on the topic of long range. These folks do not realize how much time and effort is spent by us long range shooters fine tuning our equipment and building drop charts for the exact temperature. Just like the last poster said, "we are much more accurate laying down with a bipod at 500 yards then we are free handed from 150 yards". Another poster commeneted that most guys go tot he shooting range shoot 3 bullets at 100 yards and as long as they can hit a pie plate its all good. I fine tune my bullets and I wont even keep a gun unless the bullets are all touching at 100 yards. That equates to about a 3 inch group at 600 yards. That better than what most any guy can do free handed at 100 yards. Therefore all you guys need to realize the difference in how we prepare for these hunts. This year I shot a bear at 688 yards, I didnt know if I hit him and to answer a question posted earlier "yes I did go across the nasties canyon you could find to ensure I hit the bear or not". I did find my bear and filled my tag. Most all long range hunters will agree that we do not shoot at these animals unless we are willing to go look for the animal. I hope this opened up your mind a little bit and you all understand the time and effort that goes into long range shooting. We dont just go buy a rem 700 with a bushnell scope and take some corelokts out and shoot 700 yards. Long range shooting is a whole nother challenge in itself that adds to the fun of hunting.

Hi everyone. I was lucky enough to draw my first rifle antelope tag. I drew unit 30A! Only problem is I dont know much of anything about the area. Of course I plan on scouting a bunch before the hunt. I am just looking for some input on this unit if anyone has had this tag in the past. The GF website says much of the antelope habitat is private land and will take some permission from land owners. I am wondering if that is going to have a hefty price tag? Any input is much appreciated.

Ya it was off of ashurst ranch. He told me I could only shoot one from the main highway and walk in to recover it. So thats what I did and really didnt have many other options.
