you should have included getting bit by a rattle snake - that is what worries me the most - last year on the deer hunt I almost stepped on one. I stopped one step short, was looking around when all of a sudden he started buzzing. I looked all around and could not find him. then I looked right down in front of me and the heart started pounding. didn't have my revolver - tried to get it with a rock but he was down in some cracks. just glad I stopped and didn't take that last step.

thanks for sharing - in addition to having a nice rack, the last buck has a cool red/brown coat.

thats great Danny - thanks for sharing and hope everything is going well.

Luv - what were the size of the fish at crescent? they had a 99% kill last winter and all the fish in there this summer are stockers. Going up to Pinetop on Wed evening for 4 days and will be taking the 3 year old fishing for the first time. Mom will be going to assist - hope she is not to grumpy when I wake her up at 5:00 to hit the road. do not know where we will be going yet. probably Hawley, Greer or maybe Big Lake.

I am looking forward to bringing my wife and daughter out next April.

and I was going to bring the video of asu vs au this last year in football and basketball (times 2) - oh well - I would vote for a get together next spring, say in like April, the weekend before the turkey hunts. that would probably be a good time to get together. -

aren't the last two the same buck? looks like the left eye guard on both of them is shorter than the right one. -

sorry - I know Casey will be heart broken but I will not be able to make it. I have a good friend who is in the military and I only get to see him and his family once a year. He is flying in tomorrow morning and we are getting together tomorrow afternoon. that is just the way the calendar falls. oh well - take some pics - maybe somebody can video and post first hand instruction on how to blow up a skull plate. JK. have fun - hopefully you will have some good weather. -
Tucson adult baseball league?
SunDevil replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Non-hunting trip reports
I am not positive but I also think there is a summer league. The other league's I spoke of go year round. The summer league is for all ages and usually includes kids that just graduated and/or kids that play college ball and are home for the summer. It is usually pretty competitive because you get the college players. -
Tucson adult baseball league?
SunDevil replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Non-hunting trip reports
the only baseball leagues I know of are an over 30 league and an over 40 league. they only play their games on Sunday. -
yea - nice garden

usually they are good company when sitting around the campfire in the evening but poor Rica has to endure campfire envy when she is taken out.

I think one would have to spend a lot (and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT) of time behind their optics to really tell any difference between (in alphabetical order) Leica, Nikon, Swarovski and Zeiss. More than anything, it probably comes down to ergonomic differences and each individuals preference. A couple important things about Nikon is: 1) they are not the market leader in the camera industry for nothing 2) labor expenses in Japan are quite a bit lower than in Europe.

here's your sign you mean you didn't put in for that 24south dec hunt with 150 available tags?
-
I do not know - you will have to call them. in april they were already sold out for the 2nd 2009 hunt (april) and we ended up getting tags for the 1st hunt (march).

Nikon BDC for me - 2.5 inch group at 300 yards with my new 300 WSM.
-
it does not appear they take service to seriously - I had to fax my turkey app twice. a friend of mine was going through globe and he stopped by to buy his turkey tag in person, they had the office closed in the middle of the day for a birthday party.

doubt there will be any from 27, 29, 31, 32, 33, 34A. probably will be some from 30A, 30B, 34B, 36A, 36B. don't know about the 35s, 22, 23, 24s

thats a nice, big wreath you got there. -
nothing for Scout'm and I. kind of surprised that we did not get deer tags. we had drawn deer tags 3 years in a row. glad to see some fellow CWs drew some quality hunts. it looks like they only sent emails to the successful applicants. after getting zipped in AZ for elk and antelope, zipped in UT and zipped in NM - maybe an AZ Dec tag (sheep or deer) is in my future. now the waiting game for AZ begins.

that first pic is a good one - you should zoom in and show just a neck/head/rack shot and post it.
