SunDevil replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in CouesWhitetail.com Get-togethers!
well let me see, go to Jim's house for some great bbq and even better horn porn or go to a baby shower? man that is a tough one. what ever shall I do? ok - you twisted my arm. I will bring a big pan of double batch brownies. -

this is going to be done to offset the financial impact of numerous things, one being REDUCED DEMAND. HELLO - is this "The New Gov Econ 101". Demand goes down so let's raise prices. Give me a break. Must be nice to have a high ranking Gov job.

just drove by at lunchtime and saw their sign on the bldg. Craycroft just south of Broadway on the west side of the road.

wow - that is awesome. did you get any of the meat? typically anglers are required to sign a waiver that fish of that caliber are owned by the boat. if the angler does not sign the waiver than they are required to pay for the fish in addition to whatever they paid for the charter service.

Suggestions when traveling to Mexico
SunDevil replied to Ernesto C's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Mexico
hmmm.... kind or reminds me of: "Don't run Sally because you might fall and hurt yourself." -
I have a Ruger 77 in 7mm rem mag that has just been sitting in my safe for a few years. Gun is in very good condition and I have both a wood stock and a synthetic stock.

WOW Jim that is awesome! I am so jealous! in general, San Carlos is not that great of a place to fish for marlin. you might want to consider posting that fish on www.bloodydecks.com/forum/fish of a lifetime.

Remington Model 700 CDL 300 Ultra Mag
SunDevil replied to spotit, stalkit, killit's topic in Classified Ads
not a CDL but still a pretty good deal http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem....?Item=172866549 -
just curious but what do you care? does when you apply have anything to do with your draw odds? I procrastinated and mailed mine last week (Friday) and am guessing I will have the same draw odds as I did last year when I procrastinated and dropped my apps off in person on Monday. I will be just as impatient this year as I was last year. what is really fun is when applications can be done online and all the procrastinators crash the system and they have to extend the deadline (this happened in UT this year). a better question is "how much more money did you spend in gas taking your app and dropping it off in person than by sending it in the mail for a cost of a stamp?" not trying to be a jerk, just curious. \"/

another interesting thing is that Joyce was voted the 2nd best umpire in I think 2003 and 2008 in a Sports Illustrated PLAYERS poll. perfect time for all of us to remember that NO ONE is perfect. we are all human. we all make mistakes. the bigger thing is how do we handle it? how do we handle it when we make mistakes? are we humble about it or do we try and lie about it? also, how do we handle it when someone makes a mistake against us? are we understanding or are we jerk offs? IMO, both people handled this situation the best that could be. With that said, just more fuel for the instant repaly fire. it would have been very easy and would not have taken that much time for an ump to stick his head behind a black curtain and correct the call. heck, I am sure all they would have had to do was look up at the big screen to correct it.

pretty cool - Chevrolet gave Armando a new Corvette. Armando delivered todays lineup to a tearful Joyce at homeplate. an unfortunate situation that was handled with class by most involved. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_leagu...?urn=mlb,245508

got to consider the moon also. could have a good moon in oct or a bad moon. same goes for each of the nov hunts. with the dec hunt being two weeks you are guaranteed at least one good moon phase.

neat story. this is all kind of interesting to me and something that I struggle with. is the concensus that because the other guy had his blind up first means he gets dibs on the spot for as long as he wants it? it has always been my thinking that public land means first come, first served on a daily basis. I can see if you went in there opening morning and they were already there and set up but to say we are going to be here Fri - Sun and the justification being that they set up a blind? am I off on this?

how about a ruger? I have a nice one in the safe that has not been shot for several years. I have been thinking about posting it up for sale but have not taken the time to dig it out, take off the scope, take some pics and post it up. I have both the synthetic stock and an extra wood stock.
