Used one season. Very good to excellent condition. With as tall as I am, I have a very long torsoe and I could not get this pack to ride down on my hips. Thought the wife could use it but she is to skinny for the waist/hip straps. It has a very big, nylon lined main compartment, big side pouches and a large, removeable rear pouch. It also has a blaze orange flap, an extension for holding the butt stock of a rifle and 3 velcro straps on the back to secure your rifle or bow. Currently selling on Cabelas fro $110. I am asking $80 + shipping or can arrange pickup/dropoff in either Tucson or Phoenix. Send me an email if you are interested. Thanks for looking. the report is they used a weighted bag for the disposal of the body.

better be careful or the gov might find some way to tax you for all that "free" bone you've been harvesting at the expense of our precious and delicate ecosystem.

Remington 700 CDL in .300 RUM
SunDevil replied to Snapshot's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I know a guy that has a remington 700 BDL in 300 RUM and he loves it. -
I use 3" mag out of a 30" full choke barrel. I have shot 4 shot and 6 shot. Doesn't seem to be much difference. You can also by shells that have mixed shot 4 and 6 combined. You do need to pattern your gun to see where the shot is going and to gauge your max distance. I dropped a coyote in it's tracks once with this setup using 4 shot at 49 yards. most guys I know that hunt a lot of turkeys just bone the breast meat out and chuck the rest. I kept the wings and legs once and had my mom make some soup out of it. Meat wasn't really any good and we ended up feeding it to the dogs.

never put this 7mm Mag on one of the net gun auctions. http://forums.coueswhitetail.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=22962

Tony.....the brain is already scrambled but I do manage to read between the lines and figure out bits and pieces. Amanda......I never ever thought I could get any smarter than I already is but cwt has elevated me higher than I ever thought possible. Non-Typical Solutions.......Ag classes? Just when I thought I had it all together . TJ TJ is always learning new stuff. just a couple months ago he learned that narrow road + big mesquite tree = remodeled truck door. \"/

Best Time to put out the cameras
SunDevil replied to loco4coues's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
why not set them up now and get pics of em before they drop? -
this site could have used a little granola.

I always got a chuckle out of the article in the American Hunter that listed their "Top 3 coues hunters of all time". a year or so later, one of the guys that was in their top 3 was investigated by B&C. Shortly there after, all of his coues records had been removed from their record book. Always wondered what it would have taken to have the magazine make a correction to their original article as it was solely based on the number of records in the B&C book.

well that is the gov for you. don't let it spoil the incredible season you had. congrats!

Pennsylvania has 25 times more people hunting deer (as well as a heck of a lot more deer) than we do. More importantly, it does not have the large number of deer-eating predators that we have. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Bill Quimby well both are fruit and I would imagine the same fruit management programs that would be put in place to grow big apples could also be used to grow big oranges.

Brian - what unit and hunt do you have?
