WOW Forkhorn. Thanks for sharing that!!! The numbers really do not lie. ASU has edge over Arizona in recent basketball, football meetings Arizona State's victory over Arizona Sunday in men's basketball was a boost for a program that has managed just 10 victories this season. It's the great thing about state rivalries. When all else fails, beating your state foe makes everything feel better. In that regard, the Sun Devils are feeling good about themselves lately. They have won seven of the last 11 men's basketball games against the Wildcats. They have won eight of the last 13 football games. They have won 20 of the last 25 women's basketball games. They have won 12 of the last 15 baseball games.

Welcome to nogales north rich rod. nothing like an early morning call to let you know that a former player punched a girl in the face. http://azstarnet.com/sports/blogs/finley/four-arizona-wildcats-football-players-arrested/article_c779b81c-6876-11e1-b5b8-001871e3ce6c.html

knocking another team into the NIT is irrellevant? I wonder if miller would agree with that assessment? one could make a very strong case for the same word being used for the football team in Tucson. and here I thought stoops wasn't coaching in Tucson anymore.

AZSFW open letter to sportsmen

IMO, drought can prevent increase in herd sizes but the REAL problem is with predation. Not a coincidence that a lot of these problems started a couple of years after the 1992 trapping law. just look at the results of the 3 Bar wildlife enclosure (up by lake roosevelt) and study. all we ever hear about from G&F is drought, drought, drought. I am drowning in drought here. They NEVER mention the 3 Bar study on predation. -
Does anyone know when the 2012 draw results will be in by?

WOW - that is GREAT! Congrats to Jackson on an outstanding trophy! unfortunately I think that might be the last big buck in that unit.

Fact 1. I agree. It is all that needs to be stated (IMO) and don't understand why we need to go any further than that. Fact 2 is a given. Unfortunately, that is. Facts 3 and 4 are moot points. ESPECIALLY considering they're "not enforced", as you mentioned. If we really want to go down those slippery slopes I can guarantee that it won't help our general cause in the end. It's a technicality that doesn't seem to support anything but an ulterior motive and personal agenda. It's distracting. I'm not saying we can't speak our minds. I'm only saying we've got to be reasonable with our judgments and insinuations. Fact 5- I WILL draw a bull tag this year! Jake - I dont know if you hunt from tree stands or not. If you do, I sure hope when you draw your bull tag this year there are not 4 - 5 treestands already on every known water tank in your unit. I hunted 5A a couple years ago with a friend and was completely amazed at how many tree stands were out there. I only forsee it getting worse and eventually, and unfortunately, require government interaction. Heck if argumentative golfers in TX are stabbing one another with non-lethal broken golf club shafts over speed of play, I only forsee, unfortunately, much worse things happening in the future among guys armed with lethal weapons.

did anyone see the Meateater episode where he was hunting mule deer in MT with his brother, buddy and the llamas? I generally like this show but I got a real kick out of how, in about 24 hours he went from being a trophy hunter to a meat hunter. the night before the hunt they were sitting around the campfire talking about how they were only going to shoot big bucks, bucks of lifetimes, etc. He found a big buck opening day but was not able to get a shot at it. Next day, forget about it, he was all about shooting any forked antler deer. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I think most of us know if we are meat hunters, trophy hunters or something in between. This guy pretty much presents himself as a meat hunter and I do not think he did a very good job of portraying his true self in talking big about shooting a trophy and then switching after one day. just my two cents. pretty sure I wills till watch. I also really like "On Your Own Adventures". He has talked on his website about doing a coues hunt but thinks getting good footage of small deer hiding in brush and cactus along with good kill shot footage will be to challenging and unfortunately, not what his viewers would want to see. Several guys are still pushing him to do it. We shall see.
