if you are going to get out and find a big buck before the season your odds of harvesting are greatest in the Oct hunt. if you are not going to get out and scout than you might as well go with the Nov or Dec hunts when it is cooler. The Oct hunt is usually nice and warm. Scouting in Aug and Sept is even warmer. Nothing like burning your eyes on sunscreen sweat when you are trying to glass.

no hitter in game one. one hitter in game two and a three hitter in game three by d escobedo. pretty dominating. it would have been nice to see them put a few more runs across the plate but bring on KY for another home series.

pretty hard to see how 6th place and a losing record in the conference is taking care of business. guess that is better than 2nd to last in softball.

on that hunt it is guaranteed to be hot. the mtns are steep and the cactus are thick. go with a later hunt in a unit that is higher in elevation.

how do you know ASU won't win a national title? it is all about playing at home and getting hot at the end. ASU is ranked #5 in the country which means they will be hosting a regional tournament and if they win that a super regional tournament. once they get to ok city, anything can happen to any team. if the kitties make it to post season, they will be on the road and will have a hard time getting out of a regional tournament. same goes for baseball.

any of you local wannabes going to be out this weekend supporting your last place softball team? my daughter and I will be there tomorrow night sporting our maroon and gold. she is hoping to get some autographs after the game. we are hoping for a sweep which would mean the pac12 confernce title will come down to the OR series next weekend in Tempe. GO DEVILS!!!

stastically speaking, in order to achieve a 95% confidence level with a +/- 5% confidence interval, 24 hunters out of 25 would need to report their harvest information. whereas with a hunt that offers 800 tags, only 260 would need to report. was the game and fish following up with all 25 hunters to get their harvest info? if not, I doubt they had 24 hunters report. pretty much same holds for other dec hunts that only offer 40 - 50 tags. I have been saying for years they need to make reporting mandatory like other states do but apparently they either have some statisticians with PhDs working for them or they are comfortable reporting funny numbers that really do not mean anything at all.

checked over the weekend. ASU moved up to 3 in the Pac 12 baseball standings and nogales north was 5. ASU was 2 in the Pac 12 in softball and kitties were LAST!!! BAH HA HA

Happen to see that come from behind win tonight?! Nope. no Pac12 network on my tv. I was following it on the computer. up 8 - 2 and then blow it is turrible. fortunately conf series is in tempe this year. MAYBE THIS WIN WILL HELP THE kitties GET BACK INTO THE TOP 25. last I checked the good guys from Tempe were #9 and the good gals from Tempe were #2.

so I do not put ASU decals on my vehicles because I know I am just asking for them to vandalized by these nogales north jack wagons. IMO, same goes for the decal you put on your truck. I do not think you would go put on a kkk outfit and walk through harlem.
