in addition to not wearing a hat when you hike, also try not to wear gloves. as stated before, wear as little clothing as possible while you are hiking. when you get to your destination, change your shirt, add layers and put on your hat and gloves.

we picked up a couple of guys way back on a nasty road in unit 32 years ago. they had 2x tires on their suburban. ran over a sharp rock. it punctured the front tire and then punctured the back tire on the same side as they drove over it. they were from Phx. we gave them a ride back to tucson and someone met them to take them back to phx to get their tires fixed. I am guessing it was later than 10:00 by the time they got home. probably more like 3:00. good luck on your hunt.

I had to leave a gutted deer hung in a tree over night on an Oct hunt in 33 a couple of years ago. meat was fine.

what other hunt would you put in for? they did increase the number of tags from 20 to 30 but max points for buffalo and that hunt was 33 last year.

max points for turkey should be up to 19 now. should be 3 hunters with 19 points.
