That is why they are called Carp I guess. You could snag em with a hook they are so dumb. OR, you could sit in a treestand over some corn & hunt for bluegill. Or you could use molasses, I hear that works too.

Hey guys! I'm gonna be picking up a fridge in Payson around 12:30-1 today. I need a place to leave it as I head up to the rim to help my dad out on his elk hunt....I'll be back Saturday evening to pick it up. (unless he gets one Friday) Any of you willing to help a fellow hunter out?

What a satisfying feeling. After 14yrs I FINALLY took my first antelope! I scouted a lot, saw lots & lots of small bucks, & settled on two I thought were worthy of the wait. I scouted two days prior to the hunt & then hunted for buck #1 opening morning without seeing him. I just didn't have a good feeling about it, so it was off to find #2. Like a good back-up he was in the exact same spot I had last seen him. Shows what good scouting can accomplish. One shot later & it was all smiles & hugs. He's plenty big for me. My brother helped me out big time (last picture), & I owe a lot to him. Antelope are awesome, & I can't wait to kill one with my bow! (or at least try )

I think it would suck if they put a preference point system in. At least you have a chance to draw every year in AZ. In Colorado you have to wait 12-15 years for good tags and no chance at all to draw without all of your points. Colorado has a lot more elk than we do, so we cant do things the same as them. Preference point system? This is Arizona, not Colorado. We don't have anywhere near the game Colorado does. Wouldn't work! Sorry bro.
