    Dehydrated food

    I do all my own dehydrating too, but I also pack a few things I don’t have to prep. One thing I’ve started bringing along is organic goat whey protein. It's lighter than regular protein powders and easier on my stomach at altitude. I mix it with cold creek water in a shaker bottle and it keeps me going during midday climbs without a full meal.
