I bet it's sitting in the stock differently. Like kwp said, check action screws, barrel clearance and that the magazine box isn't binding up between the stock and action.
-
I say it depends on the stock your bedding. If it is ridged enough and will the bedding compound stick to it.

Where did you hear that they aren't indigenous?

What coues caliber to build off a Remington 700 Long Action
azgutpile replied to CouesPursuit's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Whatever you decide, make sure Lapua makes brass for it. -
I have had the SG Terminus pack for a few years now and have nothing but good things to say about them. It is a minimalist pack with very few pockets, but the comfort and weight more than make up for the inconvenience. Another good pack company to consider is Kifaru.

I don't put in for the December coues deer hunts anymore, because the meat isn't anywhere near as good as the early season deer that I've shot. All of the December deer were dropped in their tracks, boned out immediately and hung up in cold weather.

Is the bullet scraped up on just one side or all the way around? -

I was up the first weekend and we didn't hear a single bird. All of the birds that we saw were by themselves.

Yes it does. -
Instead of squaring, I think they should increase the bonus point pass from 20% to 50%. This will lower the required points to get into the bonus point pass and still gives everybody a chance at getting drawn in the regular draw.

with his AZ Liftetime license, he doesn't fall under the 10% nonresident cap, he has the same odds as a resident, but has not o pay the nonresident tag fees. Everything else you said falls inline with what my buddy in Palmer says.

I would not get a long range scope without it. Issues could start showing up after 400 to 500 yard range.

What's the deal with RUM brass
azgutpile replied to DesertBull's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I haven't had good luck with Nosler Brass. 210 grain VLD @3050, and only get 3 firings before the pockets loosen up. -

What's the deal with RUM brass
azgutpile replied to DesertBull's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I don't think they are making RUM brass for reloading. -
That guy has been gone for over 10years and our name still suffers for it! Nice sheep you have in your pic. Jk

Does Working Out Help You Hunt Better?
azgutpile replied to firstcoueswas110's topic in The Campfire
Depends on the type of shape you are in. Going to the gym will help, but nothing gets you in better hunting shape than hitting the hills with your pack. -
How do you guy know that you've had 3 hatches last year? I was taught that gambles only have one hatch unless something happens to the first hatch early enough.

Do they make a 7mm-08 or more recently called 7mm-0Lark?

Make sure your magazine isn't binding between the bottom metal and the action, use a brass brush, make sure the rings are on straight and tight and try cleaning the copper out of it again. If that doesn't work, have someone else shoot the rifle.

What is your procedure for setting up your resizing die? (e.g. Touching the shell holder, or 1/8 to 1/4 turn past touching?)
