yeah i have asked a question or so about access, so is that the same as asking where the bucks in a particular unit is?? if he asked if there was a shortcut from point a to point b thats different(in my opinion) that means he is actually out there looking, and if i had that info i would probably give it to him,but to ask where to look for bucks at is different(in my opinion). oh well, i enjoy exploring new areas, sorry if i offended you guys!!

See what happens when you share info with one e-scouter, they excpect you to share with all of them. I bet if you took a ride out to your area, found some water with fresh deer sign, found a hilltop, sat up on that hilltop looking long enough, you would locate some deer, and if you didnt, then if you went to the next one you might, so on and so forth! read what game and fish has to say about that unit on their website, buy duwane adams book, oh wait, its easier to excpect free info from someone that has put some hard time in and reap the benefits from them. got ya! Finding the deer is half the fun. ESCOUTERS ARE PANSIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Het Roughcut. My old man has a pair of theses bruntons 15x51. They are pretty good glass for the price. I have no problem looking through the minox 15x58, and eveyone complains about those. My eyes are pretty close together (sometimes crossed). When looking through his i dont even have to adjust them. We can look through em all day with little to no strain. He can spot bedded deer with the best of em. The durability as noted is unknown cause hes only had em for a year. But so far i would reccomend them for the price. How would you compare the Brunton 15x51's to the Minox 15x58's? I'm considering purchasing both of these binocs, but haven't pulled the trigger. I like the price and weight of the Brunton's, but I'm thinking the Minox are better overall glass especially in low light conditions. I'll be using the 15's on a tripod mainly for deer and javelina. For the past few years, I've been renting Swarovski's from Ross Outdoors but over time it will pay to invest in my own glass. Thanks, KP opticaly (is that a word?) the minox are clearer, brighter and sharper. but if you have an eye for picking out animals, the bruntons work good. the minox are heavy, so make sure you have a good tripod. i have looked through the swarvoskis, and in my opinion the minox are just as clear, but are a little darker. everyone has different eyes though.

ran into that sign bullcrap myself in unit 8 awhile back. come to find out it was a uso guide. he had that sign up most of the season. we also saw a quad from the same camp in a wilderness area, no plates to report though, or else i would have. what ticks me off is that some guys think that they can reserve an area the whole season.

Ol' Boy and his Coon
minguscoues replied to AZantlerhead's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
thats awesome. they are the most misunderstood dog to man. its not the dog, its the owners. you can teach any dog to be mean. my two would walk off the end of the earth for me and my wife. never had a better dog. hiking machines too! -
my dads is on the left the two are mine that i got this year and last year. waiting to mount one when i hit 100. hope you enjoy. sorry if i took up too much file space. dont know how to re-size.

every hunt for me is a awesome memory. score really doesnt matter when it comes down to it for me either. if it did i probably wouldnt have shot either. the wide buck i shot, my wife was with me, that was a first for her. the other buck was with my dad. he shot his in the a.m, and i shot mine in the p.m. that was a helluva good time. all 3 bucks were in the same unit, different areas. as i said before, if i had the money at each time, i would put all my deer on the wall. every time i see the europeans in the garage, it brings back those times spent in the field.
-
thanks for the comment. if they werent so dang expensive i would get shoulder mounts of every animal. its ok though, even with a european, i think you can give it the respect the animal deserves.

I don't think so.........One of the 10 comandments of gun safety is always be sure of your target and what is beyond. great buck though. yea, it was a hundred inch buck in front of a bush on the last day......shoot
