saw a bachlor herd last few weeks ago and one of em threw out a lil bugle. went out laast monday and heard bugles from 4:45am to about 9am. nothing big, mostly locator bugles but did think iheard some banging heads in the next canyon over. ran over to see it but it was short lived. i think its mostly the young one screamin right now. nother couple weeks it will be on like donkey kong!

the law is not just southern az but all of az. im telling you the barrel can not be longer than six inches. they past this law last year or te year before and not just because of the illegals but because of all the pot field findings, and hunters/people getting shot at

there is a great line in te movie the great debaters that has stuck with " you do what you have to in order to do what you want to" that has been huge reminding myself t be patient and push through. something else i remind myself is a line in a song i wrote "....llife is like a traffic jam, always trying to around, speeding up just to slow back down..." i was always in a hurry to move u the ladder and make a buck, gt the new truck, ect.. but it always seemed like when i thought it was going good something would come up and ruin everything. so i now ijust work through the day not trying to "pass" anybody up because iknow some day i will get there.

game and fish didnt really help me out. i was transfered to 4 diferent people and not one of them knew the complete answer. the only thing i really gathered from them all is acording to one person youre not allowed to feed at your house, only in the wildeness you are hunting. another person told me it cannot attract bears and it cant be sometihng that can be pooped out and grow (anything with seeds i guess). feeders are allowed another guy told me. i dont know give a call and see what you can find out.

barrel must be 6" or less, and obviously not consealed unless carry a permit. i dont think there is a restriction on caliber.

i just ask my cosin this question a few weeks ago (he does some taxidermy work) he said showed me a few he did and says as soon as he tags it (or someone brings him a fresh one) he takes a syringe and injects phermaldihide several times into the veins runnings up the antlers. it works great and one he showed me was 11yrs old and looks and felt like the one he did last year. the phermaldihide wll dry it out really fast

like it was said before, to each his own. personally the books arent on my mind when im hunting, yeah i would like to tag a biggin, but if i used radios or anything else i wouldnt care what the books had to say. never have used radios, usually by myself hunting. i dont have money for cams so i never have put my own up. i would like to though. i feel as long as anybodys atking game legally by what game and fish say, then thats good. if i was to want to enter the books i would obey their laws as well. i just like to see photos and hear stories.

I was just looking through the regs and notice unit 22 and 23 are not open in Dec. they are open aug.-sep. and in jan. that kind of sucks. i dont have last years regs but im pretty sure it's never said the same as this year. anyone else notice that?

Whats wrong with a little "city folk" competion? I would rather bring home a nice city folk pay check and enjoy the outdoors. Yeah, but only real men can live it.... and stick it! I've lived in the mountains of central AZ my whole life.... Don't think the city livin' ain't tempted me once or twice with the promise of a little more cash..... but I know lots of home town folks like me.... and I know they just hate sharing with outsiders. Nuthin' personal... not tryin' to start a barn-burner.... just statin' the obvious, that's all. Ward's..... You state a very true fact.... or actually lots of facts. Too bad they don't see it that way.... that goes both ways though. i know lots of city folks, myself included, that wish they could up and move to the mountains. dont think country livin' aint tempted us once or twice with the promise of , well, country livin'. and i know we hate people like you not sharing with us. what is there to share anyways, public land? anyways notihng persoal, not trying to help the barn burn down, just stating the obvious from the other side, that's all.

my dad got drawn for archery bull last year, i was happy for him unfortunately i was in texas and could not make it out for that hunt this year my dad let my brothers father in law put inwith him(who has not hunted in like 13 yrs or so) and they drawn for nov. bull tags and muley tags. i was at work and called my buddy who got a archery bull tag thiis year and told him the results were out so i looked up his and another friends results and they both got drawn dor dec. hunts. i gt squat. it's really not that big of deal, i am very happy fr em' all (despite what i say to them). i have my first baby dew in nov. so i couldnt ask formore than that. good luck to everyone that drawn all Az tags by the way

If you ever get your first coues, and it is at "your" own little honey hole, you might be feeling a little different about it when the cows come in. Or maybe you'll just need a box of tampons. Mark first off, i didnt point at anyone in particular, it was just a statement. second, dont judge a man by his kills, just because i havent tagged a couse doesnt mean i havent hunted my butt off! sure i have come across cattle on my hunts and has yet to bother me in my little honey hole. im not saying if the time comes iwont be pissed, but griping about it doesnt change anything. so i could have left out the tampons, but again not pointed at anybody, and no i dont need a box. seriously though, thisis going on and on, and anybody can mak anything look or bad. all i simply meant is what i believe, if i dont like something yet dont do anything to about it, then i cant complain about it. its not IF is WHEN, but thanks for the encouragement!
