What do you want to use the spotting scope for? If it's for judging racks put the $$$ towards a quality pair of 15x optics, or keep saving for a high end spotter. At $500 you are going to get a heavy piece of equipment that doesn't do a lot for you that quality 15x won't in terms of really breaking down an animal at any great distance... All that said at your price point I'd look for a used Nikon ED50. It's light, compact and offers great optics for the $$$...if you are pairing it with 10x it's great, but if you are carrying it with 15x binos it might end up being an annoyance in your pack.

Equal value low profile casting reel or bass tackle would interest me. Or 3# of RL22 I fished it at Lee's Ferry a few years ago and lost a 20+" at my feet just above the Paria. 6x dropper midge gave up on some rocks...

I have a case of Remington 20 gauge shotgun shells. 2/34" shells in #6 shot. High brass shells stamped "Remington & Peters." Not sure of true era, but they were in a friend's climate controlled closet for the last decade. 10 boxes/250 rounds/$50 or trade for 1k rounds of .22LR in Tucson.

I have a an older RH HHA single pin slider .29 red pin, no mounting hardware but a nice site and an older bag target. If you threw a burlap sack over it it still has plenty of life if shot with a recurve or with a youth bow...don't try shooting it with your 80# Omen. Both for free if you pick up in Tucson. I'm gonna put the target out for brush and bulky in a few weeks if no one wants it. Please PM me to pick up one or both archery items.

RCBS Chargemaster or Hornady Lock and Load
Siwash replied to palivs2hnt's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Really appreciate my RCBS for rifle reloading, it has saved me a lot of time over hand trickling each load. Not familiar with the Hornady, but will say if you currently have a old school powder dispenser don't get rid of it. I sold mine to offset the cost of the electronic RCBS and I miss it for pistol reloading when I'm not as concerned with .01 grain measures. While it saves time for rifles it's actually not as fast for the pistol reloading I do. -
Not allowed to shoot a lion with spots... Also not allowed to shoot mom if she is with spotted kittens.

What kind of Nosler bullet in .30cal/165grain?

There is no trap/skeet range at 3 points, but pretty sure the Tucson Trap & Skeet Club (east of the airport on 86) is now $8 a round trap/skeet for non-members, so it is more a question of where you live in town. There is a new archery range out there at SERP too, with targets out to 100 yards.

Berger 95gr vld in 243 load data
Siwash replied to hunter1026's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
90 grain target VLD is sub-moa @100 yards behind 42.5 grains on Reloader 22 in my Rem 700 .243. Doubt the 95 grain would be much different. Also had good luck with 95gr Hornady SST's and 39-42 grains of W760 so if you can access either of those powders you might do alright. -
.300 WM is def a long action. Stock is SPF. Thanks guys.
