Yes, that's a quarter and it's a 5 shot group @ 100 yards off a sandbag from the tailgate of my truck, so I'm sure it could be improved with a proper bench rest.

I have had this same freezer for about 8 years. Its reliable and it doesn't draw a lot of power.

Vortex is sold.

TTT, be in PHX this weekend if anyone is interested in the Valley.

Not on the hoof, but seen (seasoned )sign of them in 35 earlier this summer and have talked to reliable sources who saw a bull on the Empire Cienega within the last several years.

Is that still open? There is also a county range at the fairgrounds on the far east side off I-10. It's nice if you wanna practice long range. As others have said, the TMP range is really nice too.

Last year in this unit my friend and I did just that; we were at 750 yards on opening morning and trying to figure out a way to shave some more distance and BOOM shots fired...never did ID the shooter's location but they had to be 1,000+ yards away and they did a great job of spooking the bull and blowing out the rest of the elk in the area (there was a spike and several cows too). We killed that same bull we scouted/found on opening morning several days later in the hunt...

These are free options too: http://www.weebly.com/ and https://wordpress.org/ You can buy a domain and build a website from GoDaddy too, but their user interface leaves a lot to be desired. I manage large scale web builds for a living; take Str8Shot's advice and spend a few hours for a few nights and build yourself something basic. You will want to make changes to the site here and there and you won't want to have to pay someone or wait for them every time you need an update.

Nice boat, that's a steal of a deal.

Get a chamfer and deburring tool like this if your kit didn't come with one: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/465641/rcbs-chamfer-and-deburring-tool-17-to-60-caliber?cm_vc=subv465641 I have found that for an extra $3-5 a set Redding dies are superior to everything else I have tried (RCBS, Hornady, Lee), mostly because of their ease of adjustment.

My 10x10 is made in China. Bought it used in like new condition for a steal so cannot complain too much but was disappointed to see "made in China" on the inside tag when I gave it the once over in the yard after purchasing it. Lived in it for 12 days between two hunts last season and really enjoyed it though, had it in 90+ degree temps and some serious fall rains and spring wind on the rim and it stood strong so far in every weather scenario. Have not had it set up in snow. Do feel like the front door "porch" leaves a little to be desired. Found I get better tension on it by adding an additional guy with mule tape/stake off each pole.

First load. Should I throw this out?
Siwash replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Make sure you prep/trim/measure cases before you load them up too. If you have inconsistent OACL it could be the culprit for what you are describing. -
I will be in San Diego over Memorial Day weekend and I am looking at booking a 3/4 day (6am-6pm) trip for Yellowtail, etc. There are a few outfits that run charters and the cost seems to be the similar across the board. Anyone have experience on this type of trip with Seaforth or Point Loma Sportfishing? I have fished the salt several times and know the fishing will be what it is, more curious about the crew/organization of either company or if someone has had good experiences with another outfit? I'm going to SD with girlfriend and we have tickets to the Stones Sunday evening so an overnight trip isn't an option, but she will live if I dip out for the day to fish

That doesn't sound that bad, I spent $290 for my girlfriend and me on a 3/4 day with a bunch of yahoos, and it was $4 a beer and they ran out of Tecate at like 8am

Watched fish counts/numbers on the 3/4 day options and ended up going with Point Loma Sportfishing primarily b/c the other 3/4 day boats were at or near capacity. We had 29 anglers on the boat and ended up with 5 Yellowtail and a small assortment of rockfish. A poor day's fishing by any standards. As Flash said, we spent more time cruising the Coronado Islands than we did fishing. I seriously doubt I had my line in the water for more than 80 minutes total and we were on the water for almost 12 hours, although about 2.5-3 was spent getting out to sea/returning. I have to assume the captain knows best, but on average we were in 100-120' of water and it was not uncommon to only get your yoyo or dropper loop rig down ONCE before the captain said bring' em up, we are moving. That was frustrating. Everyone on our boat was friendly and respectful, which was a plus. I think if I did this type of trip again I'd just do a .5 day or budget more time and go for several days further offshore.

Nothing for scale in these pics, but obviously neither are big bears. Just curious if the consensus is that it is a sow and a cub. Also curious if the two tone bear just has a wet coat? Note the one in the background in first pic looks like a cub. Second pic has both bears, hard to establish if one is older/larger than the other. Third pic is just cool Last pic is just a different angle on bear featured in 2nd pic.

Arrow straightness, .003 versus probably .006, and $$$ per dozen.

One post rain consideration, if you shoot a mechanical release and the trigger system takes on moisture make sure you dry it out and add lube, etc. if anything got rusty/sticky.

If you look at Craigslist in Tucson there is a guy on the east side that works for a custom truck company, think they trick out off road rigs, etc. He usually has slightly used/new take off tires at a "reasonable" price.

Nice article on waxing your string

I always just use a short section of dental floss. -
I have this scope with #20 reticle. It's awesome. Mine does require a 20 MOA rail to maximize its elevation adjustment capability.
