whats up with all the bitterness in this forum? I came here just looking for friendly advice from other hunters, not be ridiculed. I do not shoot a crossbow and not trolling either, I do shoot 2 inch groups at 100 yards with an old Mathews monster ,I was an excellent target shooter that got into hunting why is that so hard to hear/believe? I didn't come on here to make myself sound good I just wanted a little help that's all . I guess there just aren't to many friendly people anymore. Thank you to those with the help I appreciate it .

OZ31p no , not even attempting to shoot at 160 yards ,are you ? if so ,that's amazing ! I am shooting 2 inch groups at 100 yards with broad heads, so I'd say that's pretty good . is there room for improvement absolutely, but I don't plan to take any shot over 100 yards. thanks

( NoTAGS) I am considering unit 33 where it borders saguaro national park off of redington or possibly more west over near 38m by the Tucson Mountains. Again not chasing anything huge but so far 33 has been quiet probably because of all the rifle hunts. I know those deer are probably pretty shook at this point.

Good afternoon my fellow hunters and archers, I was wanting to get an opinion on where is best to hunt for OTC deer this coming opening day (December 13, 2024). I recently killed my first Elk in September in an awesome rut hunt and am now addicted with everything about archery . I have put in the work and am dialed in on shooting I'm just trying to decide what area would be best to shoot my first deer? size is not a factor for me I am after the meat not the rack.Thank you and hope you all have a great day .( I live in Vail and prefer not to travel too far north like white mountains or to far south).
