Hey whats up Houston ya it has been a long time thats a nice buck you shot too in your profile. How have you been.
-
Good one, it will be cool to see that G1 next year and see if he blows that 5th point out. Nice.

That is some pretty cool stuff. Amazing how many sets he has of the same deer. I love that stuff too.... well... who doesnt???? But it is cool to see how the biggest sets are in prime years of the deers life and begin to regress. Age is so important to see a bucks full potential. Nice.

This is a picture of a buck in late August of 07. I would like to get some feedback on what you all think he might have done this year. We didnt have a camera up all year in this area so we dont know for sure what he did. Do you think he is and old buck or do you think he has some growing to do.

Last year he had a small G3 on the right side, but his frame was smaller. He put on some width and mass but lost a G3. I dont know it is hard to say but I think even loosing a G3 he still put on some inches from last year. In my opinion that is what makes this buck stand out is just the pure size of the frame. He spoons out right were his G3 was, kinda different. Here is a picture of him last year on a camera. It is a little earlier so he isnt all grown out but its a good one.

Coues27, Great deer! I didn't know they grew that big in Unit 1. I would love to see the score sheet on that buck. It has lots of mass and the fact that it scored that high without a G3 on the right side is amazing. Congrats on a fine trophy. Unit 1 ??

I was in a stand and about to get down in fact I allready tied the string on the top cam of my bow to lower it down. One last look up and guess what I saw? 3 bucks heading right to my location. I nervously got the knot untied and by that time the deer were front and center. The shot was 23 yards and he didnt go far. This is a classic case of patience pays off, and I almost wasnt patient enough. Thank you for all the compliments on this buck me and my brother have worked extreemly hard to accomplish this task. I was the lucky one to be sitting there when he finally came in. We have been watching this buck grow over the years and like I said patience pays off and when it does it is worth all the time and effort.
